Honestly the best hostel I ever stayed in.nn1 Bathrooms are hands down the cleanest, well-maintained round the clock!nn2 As someone who works remotely, their wifi is just the best. I never encountered lagging, or any disconnection!nn3 And their co-working spaces are just great! Free to use. Spacious. Lockers available if you want to leave your stuff.nn4 Bathrooms outside of bedrooms also include showers! So, if you’re staying in a 10-bedroom and your bathroom is occupied, just look for a vacant common bathroom!nn5 Their breakfast consists of Bagels, breads, spreads, banana and orange, cereals, and coffee. If you’re Asian and looking for something savory, this is not your thing. Just cook breakfast if you want.
I’ve stayed at this hostel on a few occasions now in a 6 bed female dorm. I absolutely love the location. There’s a bus stop nearby that I took to and from the airport, there’s the hockey arena a short walk away, and a metro station around a 3 minute walk from the hostel. There are many cafes, restaurants, and attractions within a 15-20 minute radius that I would recommend checking out. The service is quick and easy with check in and check out. I have utilized the free luggage storage every single one of my stays, making it easier to explore the city either before or after my check in or check out. The downstairs common area offers breakfast in the morning consisting of things like breads and bagels, jams, and coffee. There is a kitchen where you can store your own food. There are board games, a pool table, and activities almost everyday. I enjoy playing the guitar they have hanging downstairs personally. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone wishing for both great and affordable accommodation in Montreal.
We got a private room and it was pretty nice and clean. It was in a great location and only about a block away from the metro station which we used to get around the city and also a pretty short walk from a bus that took us right to the airport. The free breakfast was pretty good also. The only thing I noticed is that the walls seemed very thin, I would definitely recommend noise-canceling headphones if you have them or earplugs.
My friend and I have never stayed in a hostel before, but we are extremely content with our first hostel experience at Saintlo Montreal. The rooms are clean and modern, with nice bedding and a spacious bathroom that is regularly cleaned. We personally had no issues with noise, and everyone was extremely friendly. It was also so nice having an included breakfast downstairs, and being a less than 5 minute walk from the metro station. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay in Montreal!
