Auberge Bishop

Great place in the heart of downtown. Everything you need is within walking distance. There's even an Irish pub across the street for those that fancy a pint of Guinness before going to bed.

Location is really amazing, lots of places to eat, shop and tourist spots nearby. Breakfast is included, a slice of bread with some spreads to choose from + tea and coffee. Staff is quite nice and helpful. Just not a big fan of the shower room, just one hook to pit your stuff, so shelf or something on the shower, so you have to put everything on the floor, there are some big gaps on the bottom and smaller on the sides of the door which I'm not crazy about in a co-ed shower room. Still, overall really good hostel, I would probably be back again.

Very nice hostel directly in the city centre of Montreal. Lots of bars and restaurants near by, only a short walk from the central station and Mont Royal isn't far from the hostel. Nothing to complain about the size of my room or the shared bath. Staff is very nice. Most of the guests here are in their early 20s. The included brekfast is not special (apart from Nutella and Bagels!) but gives you a good start in the day. Only complain is the low security standard: rooms cannot be locked from the outside. Still 5 stars though and a definite recommendation! Remember to bring your own lock.

Easy to spot from the road. The room was rather warm overnight but other than that it was nice. Showers/bathrooms were clean. Kitchen facilities were also nice.

Very cozy and affordable. Fantastic location (10 minute walk to McGill, and 5 minutes to the heart of downtown). All amenities available and very friendly staff.
