Excellent Hotel, Beware Luddites! This hotel is very well run, luxurious, and unique. They have combined the beautiful old Mount Stephen Club in front with a super modern hotel tower behind. The rooms are super modern with automated blinds, curtains, lights, toilet (Japanese style), etc. It takes a little work to figure out how to use all the features so if you hate modern technology, this may not be the place for you. Staff are excellent, even when the hotel is full, which is better than the other top-class Montreal hotels, which tend to sag in service when fully loaded.

I spend about a month filming in Montreal and had the opportunity to stay in one of their suits. The beds were so comfortable, the decor was luxurious, and I’m in LOVE with the bathrooms. As a tall woman (6ft), I never have the fortune of enjoying a bath the way I have at the Mount Stephen. They’re may have even been room for 2 of me in that deep marble Tub😄. Don’t get me started on the shower/ steam room/ and the toilet...You have to live it for yourself, you probably won’t belive me if I tell you. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I didn’t leave my room unless I absolutly had too, and although I was there for work and filming very long days, I left feeling really well rested. The fully automated black out curtains let me decide when ( and if ) it was time to wake up and the massage I had at the spa was surprisingly enjoyable ( I’m really picky about massages). If you are going to book a massage, book on a Sunday! Now for the highlight: the staff. I think I interacted with all if not most of them while I was there. Every single one of them was pleasant, professional, helpful and fun to talk to. From the second I got out of the car to the second I went back to the airport I felt like I was at home. I look forward to my next trip to Montreal and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It’s the perfect home away from home. Big thanks to the staff. You guys really made my stay(s) amazing! Good place with small modern rooms and bad room service ( food is beyond horrible)

Nice but very expensive. There are better deals to be found in the city and I recommend searching for them before committing unless money is expendable for you. Really, it's a classy location with decent staff and services, but the cost is sooo high for what it is!
