Hôtel Le Crystal

Room was not ready at 4. We arrived at 4:15 and had to wait until 4:50. Restaurant was closed for renovations and reopening, which was clearly stated in advance on the website but was not stated months before when we booked so was a bummer. View was great! Location was great! Right near bars restaurants and even a solid grocery store. Room was as expected but was a little worse for the wear than the glossy website let on. Indoor pool was nice in the evening sun. Would go back and probably will.

Amazing hotel as always. Bright modern room and great pool & hot tub. Stayed in PH1101 and it was awesome. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Centrally located and walking distance to the Bell Centre and plenty of food & shopping choices. Looking forward to coming back again.

Amazing place to stay for our visit to Montreal. Great service at the hotel. It is within walking distance to everywhere. There are some amazing restaurants and shopping nearby as well as a complete grocery store. It is also within walking distance of two metro stations which get you anywhere else in the city including the Biodome and Olympic Stadium as well as Old Montreal. The service inside the hotel was also outstanding. The rooms were welk kept and laid out with space for all of our needs as a family travelling together.

Wow. Totally overpriced and overrated for such a "luxurious" pricey hotel. No hotel without a restaurant should be rated as 4 or 5 stars. Breakfast was deplorable - not even as good as any breakfast I've had at a 2 or 3-star over the years, and the waitress was extremely rude. Room was spacious and was probably quite impressive when new, but a little beat up and disappointing at this point. We had a reservation for 3 guests, so clearly needed to use the sofa bed. The sheets and blanket on the sofa bed were used!! Never again!! Save your money and stay elsewhere!!

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Le Crystal during our visit to Montreal. The location is great - walking distance to public transportation and in less than 20 minutes you can make it to the historic old town area right by the water. Nearby to the hotel are a ton of restaurants, shops, cafes, and a popular shopping Street so there are Endless Options for things to do in the immediate area. There's parking available at the hotel but it's a little bit cheaper if you park in one of the private garages and just walk over rather than paying to park at the hotel itself. The lobby was Modern, checking in went smoothly, and my girlfriend and I appreciated having the Starbucks on the main floor of the hotel. As for the room, we had a spacious Corner Room with a beautiful view of downtown Montreal. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and we appreciated the small kitchenette which allowed us to heat up some of our leftovers later on in the day. The wifi also worked quite well which was a pleasant surprise. On one of the higher floors there is a pool and a beautiful hot tub with an amazing view of Mount Royal and more of the downtown business district area so I recommend checking that out if it's open. There’s also a spa up there as well that you can check out if you're looking for even more relaxation during your visit to Montreal. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Hotel Le Crystal if you're looking for somewhere comfortable, reasonably priced, and with a good location right in the Heart of the City.
