Hotel Chateau St-Marc

Hair and food came out of the Jacuzzi motors. DISGUSTING. Everything is so messy. The honey and Peanut Butter was expired. Pictures look great but it is very messy. Rooms are big but light switches are impossible to find. One was hidden half way behind a bed. Dust everywhere. Water started overflowing in the washroom. Don't be fooled.

It was quite the sad experience, if I could put -0 star I would. Expedia is terrible for showing pictures of a lovely hotel with lovely suite rooms for booking that are not even the reality of it.We booked for 2 nights came down from Ontario by train..and when we got there the “hotel” looked like a broken up building from a movie. It was dirty. We had to walk up these spiral staircase that probably mesured 30cms wide each step. No space to walk up the stairs with your luggadge to go to any rooms. It was a costly nightmare. We arrived in our “room” to find electrical tape around the bed frame. The bed was a piece of plywood with an old tacky mattress topped with a foam that was too small for the queen size bed. There was too much dirty cluster and tacky decorations and very dirty rugs. Best part was the bathroom door was closed and could not open anymore. The staff tried to break in the bathroom door.. it was late and it never opened.. they offered us to use the bathrooms downstairs or to use another room. at this point I asked for a refund they said no initialy and after not being able to open their bathroom door they then agreeded to the refund and gave us another room for that night being as it was midnight. The next room they gave us, the bathroom had no more toilet paper, the shower doors were not closing and the coffee machine had no water in it. It was just poorly done. The only staff was understanding and was trying his best. Overall it sucks for the money we paid. Completly disapointed and never coming back nor recomending this to anyone. Oh and if you like smelly and cold bathrooms this is the place for you. I slept fullyclothes because I did not trust the bed nor bed sheets. Conclusion I had to call expedia myself and make sure I was getting refunded because I did not trust the owner.

Terrible cleanliness, the jacuzzi was spewing out food as well as hair. The place was over all disgusting. Light switches were hidden in the most absurd places it was hidden behind behind wardrobes and other disgusting places. No dusting and the jam and other condiments were expired. The ground was sooo disgusting as well.

Very bad hotel. No lobby. Bad breakfast. Old dirty carpets. Old broken stuff everywhere.

At first the entrance didn't seem the most professional but after getting to know the staff member that took care of us we felt at home. The room is gorgeous but the bathroom was really impressive. It's a great location and breakfast was provided with pretty flexible hours!
