Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth

We really enjoyed staying 4 nights for the price of 3 in our Fairmont room. While the twin room is small, it was very comfortable for the 2 of us. Our included breakfast buffet is excellent. Simon, the concierge is knowledgeable and friendly. The marketplace had great options, and we were able to play cards in the back without a problem, as the staff there is also great. This was my third time staying at the QE, and I have never been disappointed.

We had a pleasant stay overall, with several highlights and a few areas for improvement.nnAccommodations & Location:nThe accommodations were beautiful, and the hotel is ideally located—just a 20-minute walk from Old Montreal, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city.nnParking Experience:nParking is sub-contracted, which unfortunately led to a less-than-smooth experience. We waited over 30 minutes for our car, which was frustrating. While we understand this is outside the direct control of the hotel, better oversight of third-party contractors is recommended. Additionally, offering a discounted parking rate for hotel guests would greatly enhance the overall experience, especially given the high nightly fee.nnAmenities:nThe pool and hot tub are quite small. Even during non-peak hours, they felt crowded, which detracted from our enjoyment. Expanding or better managing access to these facilities could improve guest satisfaction.nnDining:nThe food was excellent, though pricing was typical of in-house hotel dining—on the expensive side. There are more affordable options nearby, but they’re less convenient to reach.nnStaff:nThe staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated.

We stayed in one of the suites on the 19th floor and had a great experience. The breakfast service on the gold floor and the lovely ladies running it, were a big highlight for us! It’s centrally located and close proximity to the Bell Centre go habs go and a short walk to St Catherine street and to Old Montreal.nnOur room was cleaned perfectly each day, enjoyed meals at the restaurant and in room dining, and enjoyed the coffee shop in the lobby.nnOverall, we’ll definitely be back and would encourage others to check it out!

Fantastic stay on the Gold floor in October this year. We generally choose to stay at Fairmont Gold floor hotels for the inclusive experience and hospitality that is provided.nThis hotel was exceptional for the location, rooms and services. Karina gave us great advice on what to see and where to go.nThe gym was well equipped and met my requirements.nThe best part is that the VIA rail station is located just below the hotel.

This is a super hotel. Staff is amazing, location is spot on for a visit and the rooms are lovely. Our only comment is on the mini-fridge. It is fully stocked and automated. If you move something it goes on your bill. We don't drink and wanted to keep a couple of 0:0 beers cold in the fridge. No go. I understand they want me to go to the bar and pay top dollar for them there but really? Just be forewarned if you use your mini fridge at all.
