Value Village

Good location value village for 2nd hand items. Good selections of clothings and household items, books, CDs, DVDs, toys, some furniture as well. Back side is for donation drop off. Reasonable prices and good idea to give 2nd hand items a new life. Recycle and reuse! Recommended

I just posted a review and I don’t normally leave reviews however I was at value Village up in Sage Hill and this is the only location that I have seen this as I have been to every other location in Calgary and this is not happening at any other location.nnThey always have bins staffed usually about 2 to 3 high near the religious section and the reference section blocking more of the religious section on the bottom shelf. I don’t understand why these totes are being left on the sales floor in front of merchandise that people may possibly want to buy this is not where stuff should be kept, it is a safety hazard and it’s utterly ridiculous. They need to move it to the back or get it the heck out of the way there’s already not enough room as it is especially when people are looking at books and you’re trying to move through do better value village.

I go here like once a week and barely buy anything because everything is priced expensive. Like — look at this photo. I wanted to buy this. I wanted to put this on my wall. This item spoke to my soul. It gives me immeasurable joy when I look at it. Tell me, value village, WHY IS IT $16. SIXTEEN DABLOONS???nRespectfullyish,nSad, empty-handed customer

Definitely prefer this location compared to the others so far. This location has a lighter energy upon walking in; organized and clean, better quality and quantity for secondhand items with larger variety on day of visit Feb 20 approxnnLarger store size with sufficient staff to upkeep and maintain a comfortable shopping experience- as a customer I'd prefer to travel to this location even if the prices a bit higher on average comparee what one could expect at the other locations.nnBook/other media selection is also on point will be back!

Definitely one of my favourite Value Village locations. Sometimes overpriced, but lots of great finds for women’s wear.
