Maybe this review doesn’t directly concern this particular store, but since this store sells Milwaukee products, I’d like to share my experience.nnI purchased my Milwaukee impact driver here, and after about two years of use it stopped working.nI was very disappointed that Milwaukee’s service center refused warranty repair, claiming that the tool had been previously opened by me.nYes, I did open it — but only after it stopped working, in an attempt to understand the issue and possibly fix it myself. Upon inspection, I found that the mode control module had visible burn marks and a burnt smell.nnPerhaps I shouldn’t have opened the tool, but sometimes circumstances force you to act immediately when you need to keep working. I would never have done that if the tool had been of proper quality and hadn’t failed after only two years of moderate use.nnIt’s quite convenient for Milwaukee to simply deny warranty service instead of opening the tool, inspecting it properly, and determining the real reason for failure. Instead, they just offered me to buy the replacement part for half the price of the tool itself.nnBy refusing warranty service, Milwaukee also refuses the opportunity to discover the real cause of the failure and improve their products — or maybe they already know everything, and it’s simply just business.

I've been slowly replacing assorted older power tools in my shop this past year. I've been shopping and comparing products both online and at local retailers. I really get good value from my trips to KMS. Their prices usually beat competitors prices. When I can't find what I'm looking for, one of the floor Staff is always around with knowledgable and honest advice about products I'm purchasing. The Staff in general are just nice people. I can't think of a reason not to recommend KMS Tools for DYIers.

Its pretty cool place. Hard to go in and not spend money. I do find them somewhat expensive. Competitive but not cheaper than home depot really on most things about the same. I find their sales decent but could be better. That being said they offer top quality tools and gear and no junk in their store. Also you get what you pay for especially with tools and gear. Just wish the sales could be a little better is all but love this place

Hylton is so nice! Great customer service and clean store. Staff are very friendly in general but he definitely made our visit. Bit awkward to turn into from the street but plenty of other side streets to turn around on

I love KMS tools. I started woodworking about four years ago and love it. Anytime I go to KMS the staff are always knowledgable and helpful. Jay in woodworking always has time to explain things and show me the proper tools and items that I need for the project I’m working on. Check it out. It’s a great place.!
