Goodwill Chinook Thrift Store

The store is generally well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Occasionally, you might have to sift through a bit to find the best deals, but the overall experience is rewarding.

Assistance manager/supervisor is Very Very Bad service . Me and my mom was just trying to get senior discount for my mom couch she bought supervisor said we can’t do the discount..because it’s already paid.in the first place my mom was there when pay the couch and some stuff and the cashier didn’t apply the discount..when I go back to the counter for a refund they said we can’t do the refund because against the policy..wow what policy are you following?.just senior discount... I don’t understand why they are not do refunds.nthis issues is easy fix.Clearly the supervisor and the assistant manager try to argue for refund and discount for senior..Assistant manager was just trying to be difficult cause that is THE dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard. We just ask for senior discount for the couch and try argue for that... just hate that I wasted my time going here today ., the assistant manager /supervisor needs to be trained on how to speak customer with respect and maybe also give her another run down of the company refund policy.nWorst experience ever this store!!!!!

Person at the till saw a higher value item priced low and decided that was the incorrect price when I was trying to pay for it. Like any reputable shopping business they should take responsibility for theirnmistake but obviously this is not a reputable business. They don’t deserve donations as the employees will buy the higher value items for themselves at a fraction of the cost.

I'm disappointed how pricey everything is over here. I've seen Dollorama items priced higher than their actual retail price. I'm confused how a non profit organization thinks they can take donations and price gouge their customers.nCan someone explain to me how a not for profit organization has the funds to open locations all over the city?nI highly recommend people don't donate to this place.

It depends on your chance to find random stuff with good quality.nIt was amazing for me to find second hand stuff in a good condition at a fair price.nThe main thing that I find and satisfy me about shopping there is that goodwill donate something to people who need help and support .nThanks goodwill.nI recommend shopping from Goodwill.nPlease follow me and let's know your comments to discover beautiful Calgary and Canada together.
