We had an exceptional stay at the W Hotel Toronto while in town for my Dad’s Pathways hip surgery, and I truly can’t say enough about the level of care we received.nnFrom the moment we arrived, the front desk team set the tone—warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. Throughout our stay, it was clear that the staff weren’t just responding to requests, they were anticipating our needs, which made a meaningful difference given the circumstances of our visit.nnA special thank you to Ullas, who provided outstanding service and consistently went above and beyond, and to Ariel, who ensured everything in our room—including the TV—was set up seamlessly and working perfectly. Malu’s attention to detail in housekeeping did not go unnoticed; the room was always immaculate and thoughtfully maintained.nnTraveling for a medical procedure can be stressful, but the team at W Hotel Toronto made the experience feel supported, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism stood out at every touchpoint.nnThank you all for making a challenging time so much easier! We could just focus on each other and Dad’s recovery.nnThe only item of note: Dad is over 6 ft, if you are tall with mobility challenges, the bed in the accessible room had a “lip” and it is a little low. And don’t be afraid to request chairs to the room, the “orange” chairs with arms were very good.nnAnd don’t skip dining downstairs and treat yourself at Tono!! Absolutely worth it.
The W Hotel in Toronto is a joy to stay at.nW hotels pay a lot of attention to visuals — everything is coordinated and modern and contemporary. They hire great staff too. A shout out to Carol-Lynn at the front desk and Kathy in the restaurant. I had an issue that was quite unique, and Carol-Lynn thought outside the box and solved it. And did it with a warm, friendly smile.nThe W Toronto has good food too. Cathy helped make the meal memorable and was accommodating as well.nThe W Toronto is a delight!
The rooms and service are always amazing.nI consider this a very sexy hotel for a date weekend!nThe staff treat you really really well. I always feel like im at a restort with how they treat us.nThe restaurants and bars in the hotel are beautiful. Pricey! But its a high end hotel downtown Toronto, so of course its pricey!nnIt also smells incredible, whatever air freshener they use in their lobby is memorable!
Nice hotel. The team here reallly go above and beyond to make your visit memorable. Shout out to the valet staff for being amazing in a snowstorm .nThings to consider:nParking lot entry maximum is 6 feet Very tight my vehicle did not fitnThe lights in the suites even at maximum brightness are still dim. If you are someone who wears makeup, maybe bring your own lighting.nEverything else top-tier great location great walk ability great amenities great restaurants. 10's across the board.
A great international hotel experience with genuine professionalism. Khalid and Konnal at the front desk were both excellent — attentive, welcoming, and professional. I've met konnal at either w dubai mina or w yas hotel, he looked familiar face.nnI was upgraded to room 1124 — clean, nicely appointed, and a pleasant surprise with chocolate . The only minor inconvenience is that the room is a bit of a walk from the lift. The hotel overall is clean and well-kept, with a great location and friendly staff throughout.nnI wouldn't rank it among the top five W properties I've stayed at — it lacks a spa and doesn't have the range of dining options you'd find at other W hotels — but it delivers on the essentials: cleanliness, location, and hospitality. The breakfast is a highlight and well worth it. A solid stay
