I had an unexpected situation when I arrived in Toronto from Calgary on July 3. Unfortunately, my original hotel booking had been cancelled without any prior notice, leaving my family and me in a very difficult position.nI reached out to my friend, Mr. Titto Thomas, who works at Hilton Toronto, and he immediately stepped in to help. He spoke with Front Office Manager, Mr. Justin Mulla, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Despite the city being extremely busy due to the FIFA World Cup, they managed to arrange a room for us on the same day, which I truly appreciate.nFrom the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff welcomed us warmly, the room was excellent, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Mr. Justin Mulla also took the time to meet us personally, which reflected his professionalism, humility, and genuine care for guests.nLooking back, what initially felt like a stressful experience turned into a wonderful stay. In a way, I'm grateful my previous booking didn't work out because it gave us the opportunity to experience the outstanding hospitality at Hilton Toronto. The room rate was also very reasonable.nMy sincere thanks to Mr. Titto Thomas, Mr. Justin Mulla, and the entire Hilton Toronto team for turning a difficult situation into a memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again
I recently stayed at the Hilton Toronto for a work trip and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-equipped, providing a perfect environment to unwind. The hotel amenities were a standout, the pool was amazing, and I really enjoyed the breakfast selection. I also utilized room service, which was prompt and great. The staff and management were welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. I will definitely be back again on my next trip to Toronto!
I stay at this hotel frequently because it's conveniently located near my office, while I live out of town. It’s usually very reasonably priced and offers everything I need without unnecessary extras. The rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable for the price, and the beds provide a great night's sleep. One of the best features is how quiet the hotel typically is, making it easy to relax after a long day
This is like Fawlty Towers. A complete joke. Nothing. Works.nnThere were major noises at the room like the building was falling apart. When we tried to call the reception the phone was out of order. When we turned on the TV it didn’t work.nnOh, and they “forgot” to clean our room.nnWhen we tried to go to the reception there was a 20 minute line as only 2 out of 6 desks were open. So we had to wait and wait.nnWe asked for new towels as we had no cleaning and they would bring them right up. After 45 minutes we still haven’t gotten them. So back to the reception and all over again.nnAs compensation we got a free breakfast. The waiter was a parody on Manuel from Fawlty Towers and could barely speak English and interrupted us so many times that he got our order wrong - twice. We ended up walking out.nnThis is not just a small problem. This is a management issue. What a terrible experience. Never coming back.
nnWe recently stayed at the Hilton Toronto Downtown while my wife was in the city for hip replacement surgery, and the experience exceeded our expectations.nnFrom the moment we checked in, everyone made us feel welcome. A special thank you to Carlos Sanchez at the front desk, who was friendly, professional, and made the start of our stay seamless. Knowing why we were in Toronto, the hotel even treated us to a complimentary breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture that meant a great deal.nnThe room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, with convenient parking nearby and easy access to everything.nnEvery staff member we encountered, from the doormen and front desk team to the restaurant and bar staff, was genuinely courteous and accommodating.nnThe breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality food and an excellent omelet station. It was also great to relax in the lobby and catch the FIFA matches on the big screen.nnOne employee deserves special recognition: the bartender working on Saturday afternoon, July 12. Although I didn’t catch her name, she was exceptional. Despite serving a busy bar on her own, she remained cheerful, provided wonderful service, and made one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had.nnExceptional hospitality can turn a difficult trip into a memorable one, and that’s exactly what the team at the Hilton Toronto Downtown did for us. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we return to Toronto for my wife’s next surgery. Highly recommended.
