Nice room. Nice view and friendly staff. Unfortunately the TV sucks and you can only access cable channels and movie rentals. Like what the hell is this 2005? No it’s 2025. There should be streaming options. I was shocked that this hotel in the middle of downtown didn’t have that option. Crazy. Had a decent time though.
The best of this hotel is the location. Easy walk distance to many popular places in downtown Toronto.nI had two stays at this location recently, and service was great.nI have three things that I was unhappy with:n1. Parking: on the Hilton app it shows a value of $55 valet parking, but that is all the info you get. Assuming that valet is more expensive than self-parking I choose to park myself as I had time. I was shocked when I went to pay as I got charged $74 for overnight parking. If the info on the app was better, I’d have chosen the valet instead.n2. The pillows need a lot of care. They smell. They smell like dirty sweat. I had to cover them up to be able to lay on it. Bed is very uncomfortable, over used.n3. For a total price of $555 for a night, there wasn’t even a bottle of water offered in the room. Water is not luxury, it’s necessity. Too greedy to not offer a simple bottle of water.
I can’t say enough about this hotel. From beginning to end it was a pleasure to stay here — front desk service was fantastic, rooms were a perfect layout for business stays, and the rooms were nice and dark at night. It was one of the best days I’ve ever had at a hotel.
I’ve stayed at the Hilton Toronto a few times now and it’s always been a good experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean although we did have a small issue with the lock on the door not working, but the staff was quick to take care of it and get it fixed. The check-in process is always super easy and quick, no long waits or hassle. The breakfast selection is decent, your typical continental breakfast, good enough to start the day. Location is great– it’s super convenient and close to just about everything you want to do in downtown Toronto. Just a few steps away from Osgoode station. Overall, it’s a solid spot to stay and I’d definitely come back again!
I had a lovely stay over the holidays. The room was clean and neat. I am giving four stars for the pillows, which are flat and have no shape—this is across all Hilton hotels, including Europe. Maybe there should be an option for more ergonomic pillows with support.nAlthough the breakfast was lovely, the staff was not too helpful or friendly. The buffet closes its doors without warning before 10:30.nnGlass elevators are fun if you are not afraid of heights - there are 2/5 shots, and you will get one.nnThe sauna was not working, and the indoor swimming pool looked small and dark. I expected more. I am sure the outside experience would be much better.nnLoby is beautiful and grand.
