Had a staycation with two adults and cats. Chose the Sonesta because of its pet friendly policy. It didn’t disappoint. The staff and service was wonderful. It’s clearly a great place for families and work travel. It’s an older building but redone. Ordered room service and loved it, especially the roasted chicken on salads. Ordered it twice. I wish it did have a fridge to use.
Great Hotel in a very central location. Rooms were big, modern and nicely designed. check-in experience was a little bumpy but the rest of the stay was great and made up for it. Shout out to Vincent at the front desk who helped us a lot.
A very nice hotel right in the heart of Yorkville and across the street from the ROM. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Green P parking is underground and there is easy access to the hotel from the parking garage. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Mini bar and room service prices are quite high, but that's to be expected at a 4 star hotel in downtown Toronto.
Excellent location with great shopping just down the street and an underground station just one block away with a direct line into downtown. Room was very spacious and well appointed. The only small disappointment we had was the hotel restaurant isn’t open on Sunday and Monday nights but there are other options locally and the bar does serve some food as well! Overall very good!
The location is great: high end stores, lots of restaurants nearby and if you forget something, there’s a Shoppers Drug Mart next door. Starbucks and Tim Hortons are also both a block away, so take your pick .nnBe mindful if you’re jay walking to grab your uber across the street — especially between the bike lane and some speedy drivers.nnThe front desk staff were very helpful, the rooms nice and the bath items smelled amazing!
