One King West Hotel & Residence

The hotel needs better security as elevator access doesn't require a key card. Service at the attached café was inconsistent — Thursday staff were inattentive, served old food, and made poor coffee, while Friday staff were friendly, welcoming, and made fantastic drinks. Lounge service was slow, with billing errors and limited attentiveness. Front desk staff were polite and respectful. The gym was small, poorly ventilated, and lacked clear cleaning instructions. Great access to the underground pathway though!

We recently stayed at the One King West Hotel after experiencing a car accident. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's cleanliness and how good the hotel smelled.nnThe receptionist, Rachel, was incredibly kind and understanding upon learning about our situation. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible, providing us with extra attention and making us feel welcome.nnOur room with a city view was absolutely stunning. To our surprise, the room was equipped with a full kitchenette, not just a microwave and a mini fridge including a stovetop, microwave, fridge, pots, plates, and all the necessary utensils to make a meal.nnFurthermore, the hotel's offer to store our luggage after check-out was incredibly convenient, allowing us to explore the city freely before heading to the airport.nnOverall, our stay at the One King West Hotel was exceptional, particularly given the challenging circumstances we faced. The hotel's exceptional service, combined with the luxurious accommodations, made it a truly memorable experience.

This hotel was great. Very clean, friendly, and the spa was a great bonus!nnThe location was perfect for us and the lobby was very lively and cozy. All around would highly recommend staying here!

I chose this hotel for its great location and good price for a nice hotel; I will go back for the beautiful views from the tower rooms and the spacious living areas in the rooms. We stayed in a suite and it was a great set up. The staff was friendly and helpful, the café is also excellent. The food is otherwise solid but there are many restaurants within walking distance that recommend trying out instead. The ability to pay a small fee and have the option for an early check-in is a great feature. One note I will make is that the bathroom products are extremely fragrant. If you have an aversion to fragrances, you may want to either pack your own soap/shampoo or stop into the Shoppers across the street.
