A must stay for diamond members, I've stayed at countless Hiltons and hotels and this hotel is miles above the rest. I was met with a warm cookie on check in, and notified that me and a guest would be able to have a free breakfast buffet on each day of the stay. The location is perfect, walking distance to many reasonably priced and incredibly tasty restaurants. The card key accessible elevator offers an additional step of security, and minimizes foot traffic in the hallways. The combination allows me to have a restful sleep and feel more comfortable leaving my valuables in the room while exploring the streets of Toronto.
Second time staying here visiting Toronto , and the stay is wonderful. It’s in walking distance of many shops and attractions, and the food here is also really good. We have tried a few things from the fish & chips , to the lemon cream pasta , to the margarita pizza. The people in the restaurant are very friendly and nice , and so are the other staff in general. Only one star off for the room because it is a bit small for the price and out dated but other than that it doesn’t interfere with our stay. The view is very nice from the hotel as well
Best hotel experience ever! I took a red eye flight in to Toronto, and wondered how early I could check in knowing that usual check in is late afternoon. I called the hotel from the airport to try to plan my day around when I could check-in. After checking my room type and availability, Henry told me, to my dismay, that I could head straight to the hotel and check-in right away! I arrived at 9 am and was in my room at 9:15 am. All the staff at this hotel are extremely kind and go out of their way to be friendly and helpful, from the front staff Henry who checked me in to the cleaning staff who offered extra water and towels and asked where I am visiting from, to the porter who as I was leaving after check out asked if I need help with my bags or getting to the parking lot. Room was clean and stocked. Great location and value of the hotel in a prime location close to University & Dundas. Would definitely stay again!
A good room in an ideal location with superb service.nnWe spent a mini weekend staycation here for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff at the front desk were extremely inviting, warm, and helpful. Check in was very fast and we had no issues.nnOur room, which delightfully turned out to be a corner unit, had everything we needed and I would describe it as cozy. It was not the most spacious, but at the price point and location, I think it met our expectations. It was clean and did not have any funky odours. The heater worked very well, the TV had a good number of channels as well as streaming apps, and the bathtub was a godsend and it was usable. We also had quite a good view. The noise suppression impressed me, both from the outside and from the hallway. There was virtuously no outside noise and it made sleeping incredibly easy.nnThere were of course a few minor eyesores, such as some questionable caulking in the shower/tub, scrape marks around the vanity/furniture, etc., and the TV was precariously hanging at an almost comedic angle, but nothing that I’d consider unreasonable. The mattress was not as firm as I’d find utmost comfortable, but I think for most guests it would suffice. The choice of soft and firm pillows was adequate, however I will say the bath towels were very rough and not at all soothing.nnWhat made this place stand out to us, and what was a big deciding factor in our pursuit to find somewhere to stay, was the pool. We were slightly unprepared for the [public pool-esque] changing rooms at first, and the fitness room overlooks the pool which we are never big fans of, however the water was incredibly refreshing. I cannot say for certain, but it almost felt like a very mild saltwater. The pool area has limited seating/loungers, and given the relatively small size of the pool I could see it getting crowded fairly easily, however thankfully it was not busy when we went. We had a great time swimming all things considered, and just the availability of a pool in this location was super enticing.nnThe location of the hotel is great - close by to nearly everything. There are good restaurant options in the surrounding blocks for every meal, shoutout to the 24/7 Denny’s and Duke of Cornwall, and of course close to the eaton centre, hospital, university, queens park, etc. Lakeshore/the entertainment district may be a little bit of a hike and would be doable in the warmer Summer months, but it’s a short and relatively affordable cab when it is too cold.nnOverall we had an enjoyable and satisfying stay, we left with a good impression and would definitely recommend and return if/when the need arises.
Location can't be beat, hotel was clean and modern, but most of all the service was impeccable. I stayed with my two children and want to thank the front desk staff for making it so memorable. They let my kids ramble on about how excited they were to go see a show that evening and even provided them with warm cookies. It was such a genuine and kind moment of connection in an otherwise transactional moment. Little things like this made our stay so special.nnThe buffet breakfast was delicious and the pool is warm and clean as well.nnThanks for everything.
