Shangri-La Hotel

What a truly Wonderful experience I had at the Shangri-La Toronto. From the moment you step in, you are treated like royalty, the service is out of this world. The rooms are so beautifully designed with High-tech equipment, making it a seamless and flawless experience every moment. The dining is out of this world, and the in room dining was truly magnificent. The staff make personal relationships with their guests and truly make the entire experience memorable. The Shangri-La Toronto is an amazing hotel. We spent Christmas there and it was just super lovely. Every interaction with staff was 5* - every.single.time. Rooms were clean and spacious. Gorgeous bathrooms - the spa looked amazing we didnt have the chance to book anything and the pool area was lovely. I would have appreciated a “child free” time in the pool - but it was Christmas after all - so everyone was at the hotel for a lovely time. The only “ding” I’m giving the rooms is for the pillows. Not great pillows. I did call to request some additional pillows from the pillow menu - but only 1 arrived - the others were all being used. So i think that may be worth looking at. Food was excellent at Bosk. And the cocktails were amazing. We did not have Tea in the lobby - but it looked lovely. Next time we are in Toronto - I will definitely book it. Great stay. This was my first time staying at the Shangri-La Toronto and I was genuinely impressed. I frequent many 5-star hotels in the city, and this may be my new favourite. The service was exceptional, from seamless room service to a beautiful spa experience, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully executed. The room service food was also outstanding; I enjoyed it so much that I chose in-room dining every night instead of visiting nearby restaurants.nnOne employee who truly stood out was Andre at reception. He went above and beyond multiple times to accommodate some of my unique requests, ensuring my stay remained completely seamless and luxurious. His professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a noticeable impact.nnI’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Spent the weekend of Jan 30 to Feb 1, 2026. The Shangri-La hotel is a dyanamite place to stay. We had a fantastic time. The hotel was outstanding from checking in. Andre at the desk was great From a spacious room, to the pool, hot tub and the dry sauna, everything falls into place. It's a stop you would like to goto but don't want to leave. The staff was excellent, but most of all the lounge with a live band was impressive. My wife and I ended up dancing. A five plus to the management and staff.

I’ve spent the past two Christmas holidays at this hotel, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to stay in Toronto. The service is consistently impeccable, and the team has a way of making everything feel effortless.nnA few highlights that keep me coming back: the smashed burger at the lounge is a 10/10, the duck congee and the bread that comes with it at Bosk is always on point, and you’ll find the best Peking duck in the city at Mott 32. The owner’s suite also has the cutest bathroom with a patio — absolutely Instagrammable. Already looking forward to my next stay!
