Shangri-La Hotel

We had such an amazing experience over the Chinese new year weekend! The staff was so kind, professional, and eager to help with our requests. I will forever remember the time we spend here. Food was top notch. The breakfast was tasty with imported jams from France and the French pressed coffee was superb. The dinner menu was thoughtfully put together and executed. Wanted to give a shout out to Dean, you went over and above. Your attention to details and helping my other half set up the room was just phenomenal . Thank you so much!

We went for high tea on mothers day and it ended up being a great experience. I want to thank Lakshay who went above and beyond to accommodate us even though everything was booked out for mothers day. It was a really special occasion for us and the attention they gave us lived up to the occasion. Looking forward to spending another evening there!

We choosed this hotel for business reason and birthday celebration. The location of the hotel is good. 15 minute walking distance to downtown. Breakfast is good enough. I love the taste of meals. The portions are ok. Tea is getting cold very quick. Filter coffee portion is for two people. Unfortunately I am allergic to dust and mites. They provided air purifier immediately. Room Director Adam is very kind and responsive. Thanks to him. Hotel Lobby is pretty. There is live music everyday.

Heart of everything. Elegantly decorated, great staff and the rooms are beautiful. Most recent time I stayed here I received a view of the CN tower which made up for the noisy neighbours next door. Valet parking is reasonable and the bar downstairs always have great drinks to try out. Highly recommend this place.

We had high tea at the Shangri-la today, and by far, was the worst service I have had in a long time. We were not served anything to eat until well past an hour after ordering. Our server ignored us most of the time. We asked when our food would be arriving, she apologized and said a manager would be over soon. No one came. At last the tea service came. The food was overly sweet, and mediocre at best. We wanted to order off the regular menu but we couldn't get our servers attention. We asked for the table to be cleared multiple times before it actually happened. Then we had to send one of our party to find our server so we could settle the bill. We paid in full. Do not recommend, would not go back.
