Hotel with night bar and live music concerts that make sure to be impossible to sleep. Had to change my room after going to bed because of the noise. Staff answered that is normal because there is live music in the night bar... Live concerts in a hotel is insane as we are here to sleep. If you love music and sleep very late it can be à good hotel. If not go somewhere else. Good location. Noisy air condition. Cold bathroom.

I stayed four nights and was elated with the comfort and space. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived to early for check-in, so they stored my luggage and had directions for eating places and things to do in the city. I would absolutely stay again. Vancouver is a beautiful place, I'd love to go back, and i'd check here for space when I do.

Tried the Moda Hotel because the price was good, the pictures looked clean and the location is awesome! That being said once you get in there, the rooms were super small, very old with a coat of paint to "freshen it up" I'm actually lying in the bed right now writing this review and my back feels like I slept on the ground all night, actually the floor might have been softer than the bed actually is. But to take my mind off the horribly hard bed is this super loud noise from the building next door, some sort of air ventilation that is loud and doesn't shut off.....at all.....all night long. The staff is friendly here but that doesn't help me sleep at all! I really can't say I would ever stay here again unless it was an emergency. The rooms are farely clean and I see no signs of bed bugs (have to check every hotel room for those) I would have to say if your looking for a good night sleep this is probably not where you want to stay, if your planning to go out and party all night and need a cheep place to cleanup in the morning, maybe the booze will help you sleep through the loud sounds and crappy bed!!

Moda hotel has a balance of pros and cons, but all in all we had a great stay. The location is awesome if you need/want to be close to the hustle of downtown Vancouver. Short wallks to live sports and concert venues, ample shopping, and hundreds of food options. There is also a nice grocery store very close by. The rooms at the hotel are very mediocre; slightly on the small side and pretty outdated. It can be a little bit noisy in the halls in the mid morning, but Nothing terrible and not so bad for the deal we got on our stay. If you are looking for a semi affordable place to stay in the city with no frills, and don't mind a quaint room to rest in.. this is probably a good choice.

Great service! The wine bar is awesome too. They had a live performer on Wednesday named David Morning and he was excellent. The rooms were not the most comfortable but it was not a big deal. Really close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. Recommend for sure.
