Even though I live in South Edmonton, the Staples in West Edmonton is hands-down my go-to store and today was another reminder why.nI recently bought a pair of Beats Solo Buds from this location, based on a sales rep’s recommendation. Unfortunately, I later discovered they didn’t have noise cancelling and the case wasn’t battery-equipped. Two features I was specifically looking for. Since Staples doesn’t allow returns on opened electronics, I didn’t expect much when I came in to ask about an exchange. But I figured it was worth a try.nTo my surprise, the staffs went above and beyond. The employee I spoke with listened carefully and then called the manager, who completely understood my frustration. He made an exception and let me exchange the Beats for a pair of Sony WF-C700s that actually met my needs. That kind of understanding and flexibility is rare these days, and it’s exactly why I keep coming back to this location.nnAlso, check out their mobile deals! I got a $50 gift card today just for switching to a bell provider with better data and speed. Totally worth the trip every time.

Riley is so hardworking, she helped me with printing and pictures. She was very busy but still she was there to help. Dave, give this girl a raise Amazing job. Saved my two days. The indian guy at cashwas very helpful too.

Went in to the store just to get a phone case for an older model of phone. And I was bombarded/borderline harassed by a mobility Staples employee into getting a newer phone. I said I am not interested I just need a case and the staples website says there is 5 in stock. He was like no see we don't have them they should be discontinued. Then he goes more about needing a new phone, he can give me a better deal. I was like no I don't want a new phone. I just need a new case. He wouldn't take the hint. I finally just walked away and said no. Never got his name but I would hate to see him bombard another customer who isn't as tech proficient. It wasn't customer service it was customer harassment. I went over to another area and got another item I needed and asked that same employee this employee Bhavik was his name he was helpful he got the case from the back that I needed and I paid and left the store. I for sure am turned off getting any mobility service from this Staples location.

I would NOT recommend this store for Print service. I had sent in my same-day order of only 5 sheets of 2” labels at 10:22am and stopped in at 4:06pm to see if they were finished. I had not received the email that is sent out when the order is confirmed down, however I thought maybe I erased it by chance.nWent into the store and the 2 girls working were drowning in customers between the print service and shipping service. I was finally helped by a young lady and she looked for my order however it still wasn’t done and there was only 1 hour and 45min left till the store closed so I knew my order was not going to be “same day” printedas that’s what I had paid for.nI went to the front check out to speak to a manager, I had the awesome opportunity to talk to Caesar…. I had asked if there was any other help to help the girls working because they are drowning in customers one after one in line….. he said In his broken English that no there is no one to help, and I had explained well how are you going to offer same day print service when there isn’t enough bodies to do all the jobs offered? He said well there is only 2 people scheduled for today and they are very busy today. I replied yes I know and they are drowning, and one of those are in training so she is extremely limited…….. his reply was I cannot help them I am doing something else. I had no words after a manager replied with that!nIt’s been 29.5 hrs since submitting my “same-day” order and well ….. still nothing is completed on 5 sheets of circle labels…..

I put in an order yesterday for copying. I needed what would become 300 half page size colour raffle tickets. This was a second order of 350. “Madison” helped in fulfilling both batches. She was helpful with both orders, assisting us in our choices and with suggestions. I would definitely ask for her directly the next time I’m there for copying.
