Walmart Supercentre

Walmart in Meadowlark, I don’t know if I would call this a Supercentre, there’s bigger out there, but they have everything you need.nnGroceries, clothes, toiletries, . . . which is what I was after today.nOf the three items I was looking for I found all three-minus a particular brand of shaving lotion- a travel size that I am normally accustomed to, but I found another option.nnI was out quite quickly, cashed out on my own of course that’s the norm now and it’s always good when the buttons are few to push and instructions clear, which they were.

I have been stereotyped twice by loss prevention. Separate visits into the store.nnI no longer feel welcome in there as I was approached both times asking what I was doing in the store.nnExtremely unprofessional and extremely dehumanizing.nnI won’t return again unless that sort of attitude changes.nnFor now I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Had a terrible experience with OSL today. We went to buy a mobile phone and the salesperson was extremely rude and unwilling to provide the offer. We simply asked whether they had the model in stock, but instead he kept asking about the offers we received from other shops, which felt rude and irrelevant. He also took our mobile number and then said that checking the credit score would negatively affect our credit score.nAlso he noted the number in his system’s notepad.

Dear Store Manager,nnI am writing to formally express my disappointment with the way I was treated during my recent visit to your Meadowlark Walmart location.nOn Aug 10, between 9:00 to 10:00 AM, I completed my shopping at your store and proceeded to the checkout as usual. I had a few items in the bottom section of my cart, which I made sure to scan and pay for. However, as I was leaving, I was stopped by two Store managers, both of INDIAN, descent. One of them, in particular, addressed me in a disrespectful and accusatory manner, asking whether I had scanned the items at the bottom of my cart.nI clearly informed him that I had already scanned and paid for all items, and I even encouraged him to check the store’s surveillance cameras for confirmation. Despite this, his tone and attitude were unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, making me feel uncomfortable and unfairly.nI hope you take this complaint seriously and follow up with the staff involved. This is just a notice for you, because when promote them to manager position you should tech them what behavior has a managers. I appreciate your time and attention, and I trust you will follow-up this issue, because next time if happen I will deal with him legally with evidence.nRegards,nTahir

After glancing through some reviews, I didn't hold high expectations for this Walmart location when I walked in. However, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Almost everything is fully stocked, well-organized and clean even the restroom! I was greeted by a staff and I witnessed staff working hard shelving and helping customers. Being part of the Meadowlark Medical and Shopping Center, it is indeed not one of the largest stores, but it has everything essential. It has Photo Centre, fresh produce and bouquet. I was amazed by how shiny the glass doors of the freezer are! I think the manager must have taken in customers' opinions and made a serious improvement. Please see photos for reference.
