Walmart Supercentre

It's a Walmart so that alone, speaks for itself. This location is convenient for me but many times I travel to the location on Stony Plain road in west Edmonton which is by far a better store. My wholle gripe with the Meadowlark location is that it is poorly stocked. Very frustrating. Otherwise, I don't have an issue with it. Time to try a competitor me thinks.

Had 20 minutes left to shop at Walmart as they close at 10. My boyfriend was harassed by employees saying he had 5 minutes to get out. Even though we had twenty minutes left to shop. While my boyfriend was looking for things, he didn't even get them himself they were in such a hurry they grabbed it and put it in the cart for him. We also tried to get dog blankets which was on the other side of the store and they then said "didn't have them in stock" So don't shop here if you feel like getting harrassed. Just so you know meadowlark your store hours don't change just because the employees have plans after work. Only time I'll be coming back is to return everything they forced us to get because of Rushing us.

I dont usually write reviews but after what i saw last night I felt like I had to do something. A woman wanted to return a pair of little girls shoes and didnt have the receipt. The manager, who, in my opinion, was verbally abusive and rude came over to say, at the top of her lungs while making over the top hand gestures that this woman had returned something before without a receipt and that she should just go to a different walmart. ( I beleive she was insinuating that the shoes had been stolen) The loud manager is what caught my attention but it was the woman herself that made me continue to watch what was happeneing. I dont want to invade her privacy by saying to much but I instantly recognized her from a story I followed a few years ago when her husband and friend were both killed by someone while trying to help a stranger being attacked in our city. She went on to adopt the friends daughter also. I am almost certain she probably still receives donations and gifts so im sure she doesnt always have the receipts. After i had finished paying I went to try and find her in the store and found her in the aisel with her basket and a few groceries being yelled at by the same manager that she was already told to leave and the cops had been called. ( i never heard her once say that she had to leave the store during the 1st interaction) so the woman had to leave her basket and groceries right there in the aisel and leave the store. The employee didn't have a name tag on but i waited in my car for the police so i could tell them my version of events based on what i saw but they never showed up that night. If anyone else witnessed this on Sunday night around 10pm please verify my account so that hopefully people choose to shop elsewhere as I will be from now on.

This Walmart seems darker than other Walmarts in the West Edmonton area. Cashiers are often quick cashing me out but some aren't as friendly as others. They usually have what I'm looking for, when I come here it's usually chips and other junk foods.

Walmart is a very good place to buy groceries, I like to spend some time at Walmart. On special occasions is possible find even better prices. Usually I buy at Walmart Superstores, they are bigger then regular stores and have a bigger offer of goods and they have into the stores chains like McDonalds and Tim Hortons, that way is easy to buy. I recommend Walmart for everybody.
