Disorganized, constant classroom changes. Last second changes, instructors tell more stories than they do teaching.nnI am extremely worried I chose the wrong school. I am forced to teach myself and learn from more experienced classmates.nnNAIT is definitely in need of some serious adjustments. I suggest you read the reviews, I didn't and now I'm screwed. Today in class we were learning from YouTube videos that were actually PART OF THE CIRICULUM. including cheaply copied over videos without the ads cut out.nnI find this extremely unprofessional. I am astounded there was no course review prior to letting this stuff slide. In all honesty , this is a cobbled together course to get students in and out fast . As a student with documented special needs, I’m only two courses away from completing my Business Administration degree at NAIT — and I genuinely wish I could be writing a positive review. Unfortunately, my experience with both the Business Department and the Accommodations Department has been frustrating, disheartening, and at times, obstructive to my success.nnIn Fall 2024, I dropped a course after realizing I had already taken it, but couldn’t find a suitable replacement due to a lack of response from other departments. As a result, I was considered part-time. When Winter 2025 came around, I was registered as a full-time student, but NAIT failed to confirm my registration for student loans, despite repeated emails and my clear status on the student portal.nnThis caused a devastating ripple effect: I couldn’t attend my classes, pay tuition, or cover living expenses — even though I was fully registered and ready to learn. What made it worse was the response or lack of from NAIT’s finance and accommodations teams. Instead of working with me to fix a very solvable issue, I was repeatedly sent automated replies referring to outdated letters and even inaccurately labeled as having withdrawn from the program. I had not withdrawn — I had been denied access due to their inaction.nnBetween January and April 2025, I followed every instruction: I applied for funding again, contacted student services and accommodations, and was repeatedly assured that once I applied, my registration would be confirmed. It never was. As a result, I had to drop Winter classes.nnI was told I could still graduate by taking Spring 2025 courses. Again, I registered full-time. Again, I applied for loans. And again, NAIT failed to confirm my registration in time — even though I had official apologies from earlier staff acknowledging the previous error. Despite every effort on my end, the lack of support from this institution has delayed my graduation unnecessarily.nnWhat’s worse is hearing from many other students — particularly those with accommodations — who’ve had similar issues and felt abandoned or ignored when they needed real help.nnI still want to finish my degree. But as someone who depends on institutional support to succeed, I no longer trust NAIT to properly support students with disabilities or anyone facing barriers.nnIf you’re a student who requires real support, clear communication, and timely action — this is not the school for you.

Got booted from my semester 2 classes without warning.nNot even a possibility for academic probation.nGladly took the money for the classes however.

This is so endlessly frustrating! This has been amongst the worst school experiences I've ever had, and I can't even escape because I am on the tail end of getting my bachelors. These people have done nothing in any way to assist me when I desperately needed it and when I was literally sick and coughing up my lungs being unable to attend an online class AT ALL because of it, they wouldn't simply let me withdraw from it, and instead waited SEVERAL MONTHS before giving me some arbitrary reason for why I deserved an WF, and after another month of back and forth discussions with medical information being shared, like vampires the institution still decided to keep my money after the fact saying that I should have got in contact with them before the term ended! I WAS TALKING TO THEM ABOUT WITHDRAWING NEAR THE START OF THAT SAID TERM! I never want to have any form of interaction with the likes of NAIT but have found myself trapped, in this disgusting, repugnant place. Don't ever come here for any reason!
