So far so good. My Mom just moved in here today after a two-month wait at the UofA hospital. The staff seem responsive, caring, respectful and helpful.nnShe is in a double room, which is quite small and seems like a Motel 6, with no chairs for guests. However, they do have plenty of space and nice furniture in the common areas so I guess they encourage residents to move around and not stay in their rooms. The dining area is in a beautiful atrium with lots of natural light.nnThe facility is located in a nice quiet residential area.

Hello allnI just want to single out for an accolade today ... Jennifer! She was bringing the laundry to third floor/south... my wife and I described a missing poncho to her... Not only did Jennifer go downstairs and find it ... she brought it up to us ... we were very happy to see it ... she then took it away to have it labelled .. only to return it again twenty minutes... safe and sound to the closet! Kindness never goes out of style, Thank-you!

I highly recommend the health authorities investigate the kitchen in that place because I worked as a cook for 2 days and I had to quit after that because the way the philino stuff cook there it’s way very dirty no washing hands no washing ingredients and it feel like you are in the Philippine in a very dirty restaurant no one of them have food safety , same cutting board used for cutting meat fish and vegetables without washing and the manager sees that and she doesn’t care . I felt so sorry for the elders who lives there had to eat dirty food . Stuff are dirty their Neals are dirty they don’t wash their hands when they cook, it’s disgusting kitchen. And when you report it to the manager then she becomes very rude .

My mother has been at Jubilee Lodge for 7 years. I have visited several facilities in the city over the years and in my experience, this one is one of the nicest if not the nicest one as far as how my mother has been treated and how they have treated my family. With Covid there has been many more restrictions in place but the staff has always gone out of their way to accommodate the residents and families as much as they can. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff.

Jubilee is a very nice environment, initial rooms are small/shared, and although mom was only there for a couple of weeks, before her first choice came available, the Staff were very good to her, concerned, always in contact with me on any changes that were made with her medications, or if she needed anything. Only reason we moved her to first choice, was because of the size, she was overwhelmed, afraid of getting lost, even though the staff took her wherever she needed to go, sometimes she would just go for a walk in her wheelchair, but because of her dementia not remember how to get back. They always made sure she was taken care of. Thank you!
