Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home Ltd

So far so good. My Mom just moved in here today after a two-month wait at the UofA hospital. The staff seem responsive, caring, respectful and helpful.nnShe is in a double room, which is quite small and seems like a Motel 6, with no chairs for guests. However, they do have plenty of space and nice furniture in the common areas so I guess they encourage residents to move around and not stay in their rooms. The dining area is in a beautiful atrium with lots of natural light.nnThe facility is located in a nice quiet residential area.

Great facility. Older like most of the Edmonton sites but very well maintained. First rooms are small shared rooms but they do have bigger shared rooms and private rooms too. The staff are very good. Recreation is the best I've seen. Lots of common areas and a beautiful atrium. Lots of outdoor space and the food is really good. Once you're around a bit and see the way staff interact with residents, family members, and other staff, it definitely has a very homey, family environment. I highly recommend.

This is my grandmother's new home, genuine employee's work here, very clean an the food isn't horrible here. Happy hour is very fun!!nThx you staff for taking care of my grandmother an all the other elderly.... Not enough star to rate this elderly housing!!!

My Mom was at Jubilee Lodge for a year.nIt was a great place with great staff all around. The physio staff, recreation staff, nutritionist, care staff and nursing staff all put the care and happiness of the resident first. There are many activities every day, including live entertainment every Friday and special seasonal events throughout the year. They try very hard to see that everyonenIs busy, happy, social and cared for.nBecause of many family members living in Sherwood Park, when a spot opened there she thought it would be easier for family to visit. So she moved to Sherwood Park. It was so disappointing. They had very little physio, I would say none, very little staff for therapy, nutrition or recreation. Outside of a church service every morning, which the Minister would have to come and take her too there was nothing for activities and very little entertainment.nThey had her in bed most of the time, even for meals, didn't take her to the washroom saying she couldn't use the lift. The care was not good. With that type of care she was going downhill very quickly.nThankfully, we were able to get her back to Jubilee.nThe care and attention is wonderful. Everyone is busy and included and the staff are happy and encouraging. She is out of bed in the morning, having her meals in their Great Room, which has so much natural light with huge windows, and enjoying the activities there as well. She is taken to the washroom as required and her needs are looked after. She is happy and alive, turning 100 this month.nJubilee is a lodge where they care that the residents are living their best life!

Hello allnI just want to single out for an accolade today ... Jennifer! She was bringing the laundry to third floor/south... my wife and I described a missing poncho to her... Not only did Jennifer go downstairs and find it ... she brought it up to us ... we were very happy to see it ... she then took it away to have it labelled .. only to return it again twenty minutes... safe and sound to the closet! Kindness never goes out of style, Thank-you!
