Let me start by saying this hotel was beautiful, well appointed, and quiet. It was in a great location, the facilities were clean and the staff were all very professional and courteous. The beds were extremely comfortable, the lighting in the room was great, and the was good. I never sleep well my first night but I slept like a baby here.nnThis may or may not be nit picking, but one of my pillows was dirty. But since it was one out of four it wasn't that big of a deal. I also noticed a few strands of hair that weren't my own but assumed they were most likely from the maid best case scenario. I was so tired from a full day of working and very satisfied with everything else, that I didn't make a big deal out of it.nnThat being said, when I mentioned it to the clerk at checkout, she seemed to be finding ways to try to make up for the inconvenience by offering a free breakfast already had it so was too late or a dinner drink never used the first coupon provided at check in. I really appreciated the gesture and probably should have mentioned it sooner, but as I mentioned, was exhausted.nnAll in all it was a great stay and would recommend it as well as return for a future visit.
We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and were warmly greeted by friendly and knowledgeable reception staff. Check in was prompt and efficient. Or rooms were air-conditioned which was a relief as it had been a very warm day in Toronto.n24hr shop for drinks and snacks and a microwave was available next to receptionnBreakfast had a very good selection, the hot food- scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages along with waffles and pancakes were delicious. We also sampled some fresh fruit and yoghurt.nThe staff attending were happy to get whatever we needed without us having to leave our table. They were very attentive and helpful. A special shout-out to Ms Norma from housekeeping who serviced our rooms and always had a smile and a hello for us.nThe pool and hot tub very clean and not at all busy so I had an hour all to myself!nWould recommend and would definitely visit again.
Well situated hotel near the better parts of Toronto. St Lawrence market, for food and coffee, is just down the street. Access to many other parts of the city are convenient as well. The rooms are small to medium size for the upgraded rooms. Service was mediocre giving one strike for us having to ask to clean the room. For the kind of money they’re charging, should be automatic. Parking is simple but expensive. For being in downtown this hotel is a good place to stay.
I stayed here For 3 nights, for business purposes. I did not have one of the updated rooms which is unfortunate as I didn't particularly like the shower, or coffee amenities in the room. Very plain/basic - nothing special. Just stereotypical nondescript coffee and generic/unknown brand shampoo/conditioner/ body wash that was the refillable 'locked to the wall' sort. I find this type more unhygienic on principle.nnThe restaurant downstairs had reasonable service and an indoor as well as outdoor seating area, which was appreciated.
Stayed here 3 nights with our 1yr baby and had a great experience! Doors can be a little thin but otherwise pretty quiet stay. I believe they offer full size cribs but we rented from a service and the hotel even set up the crib for us before we got in! We enjoyed our stay and it's a great location. Room was comfortable and clean.
