I recently stayed at this hotel for a very short visit and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I remember staying here before it became the Marriott, and the rooms have been renovated very well since then. They are spacious and clean, and the room service was prompt and friendly. The bed was comfortable, pillows too. Checking in and out of the hotel took less than 2 minutes, which was amazing. The location speaks for itself and is ideal for anyone looking to be in the centre of all the action. We had the continental breakfast, which offered a good selection of options. We also ordered food to our room from the hotel restaurant and it was delicious and fresh. Staff were nice and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.
We had a good overall experience at the Marriott on Blue Jays Way.nnThe hotel itself is very nice, and the suite we stayed in was beautifully renovated and comfortable. However, I was surprised that the guest breakfast was $35, which seemed quite steep for a Marriott. I opted to order Uber Eats instead, but the hotel wouldn’t allow the delivery driver to come up, which I didn’t appreciate.nnDespite these inconveniences, the hotel’s atmosphere and updated accommodations made for a pleasant stay. If they addressed the breakfast pricing and delivery policies, it would make the experience even better
We were looking forward to a little getaway and heard great things about this Marriott. We earned an upgrade through being a Marriott member and were excited about the room and their concierge lounge. Unfortunately, I was disappointed on all fronts.nnWhile we did get an upgrade and the room was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom, we were on the second floor and had a view of the railway tracks and a maintenance machine which started up at 8:30am.nnWe had arrived later in the evening and went to the lounge. Most lounges will have snacks available, but this one only had water, pop and coffee/tea. As far as Marriott lounges go, this was sub par.nnParking is valet only and is $50/night until 1pm the next day. We were lucky to have an extended checkout to 4pm, but that meant another $25 for parking.nnThe best part of our experience was the valet attendant. He was super nice, welcoming and most helpful.nnOverall, I wish I had the positive experience of others who stayed here.
Review for Marriott HotelnnI am utterly appalled by the treatment my friends and I received at the Marriott. During what should have been a pleasant visit, we encountered the most unprofessional and shockingly rude behavior from your lobby receptionist, Jose. While we were walking to the restaurant, Jose yelled at us in an incredibly disrespectful manner. Admittedly, I might not have heard him initially, but his reaction was completely unwarranted and unprofessional.nnThe attitude he displayed was unhinged, leaving all of us deeply uncomfortable and shocked. A hotel of Marriott’s stature should pride itself on providing exceptional customer service, yet this experience was anything but. Jose’s unprofessional demeanor and lack of basic courtesy left a bad taste in our mouths and ruined what should have been an enjoyable outing.nnAs a long-time customer of reputable hotels, I expected far better from Marriott. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately. I sincerely hope management takes this incident seriously and ensures that no other guests endure such a demeaning experience.nnIf there was 0.5 stars I would have given them that.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!nnWhether you’re in town for a Blue Jays game, a concert at Rogers Centre, or just visiting Toronto, the location couldn’t be more convenient.nnI was fortunate enough to receive a room upgrade, which included access to the concierge lounge - a fantastic perk that really elevated the experience. The lounge offered a great selection of snacks and drinks, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring or before heading out for an event.nnThe service was top-notch throughout my stay, with special thanks to Jenny, who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Her friendly and attentive service made a lasting impression and contributed to an overall exceptional experience.nnIf you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in downtown Toronto with excellent service, the Toronto Marriott City Centre should be at the top of your list!
