I came here as a solo traveler for a conference and also a little time to explore and enjoy Toronto. This hotel was a amazing location. I was able to walk everywhere or take public transportation. The pool and hot tub in the hotel were wonderful. But the best part of my experience here was the customer service. Johnathan S, one of the managers, made my stay extra special and went above and beyond to provide wonderful customer service. His kindness made my stay extra special and I am so thankful for everything. Wonderful hotel and staff - highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience with my massage therapist. Regina was incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to understand my needs and preferences. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcomed and at ease. Her accommodating and professional demeanor made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I truly felt cared for throughout the session. Highly recommend her services!
Great experience overall and I would recommend to anyone visiting, especially with the fantastic location, clean rooms with great views, and nice staff.nnThere were a few practices that I felt cheapened the experience. For one, you would be charged to use the coffee in the room; I'm used to the room coffee being not great but free. Additionally, they have a $25 per night amenity charge that doesn't show in the room rate - I'm not a big fan of hidden but mandatory fees. The Amenity charge was made worse by being able to get $10 credit each day can't add them up from what I understood to their restaurant where nothing was less than $10, seeming to make at least part of the fee a fabrication to get more business for the restaurant. It just felt sleazy for an otherwise great hotel experience.
Beautiful Christmas decorations. I loved the Winter Chalet - what a cute idea.nnWe made use of the hot tub and pool. That was definitely a factor in choosing this hotel.nnAnother factor was the walkability/location. It was a short walk to the CN Tower, the Ripley’s Aquarium, and the Hockey Hall of Fame. It felt safe walking in this area, even after dark.nnThe breakfast buffet was included with our room reservation. Great selection of food. We loved that a chef cooked our made-to-order omelettes in front of us. Excellent service from the waitstaff.nnWe had a great stay overall. No issues or disappointments.
My family and I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Toronto during a difficult time as we were attending a funeral. The hotel not only provided a sanctuary from our grief, but truly exceeded our expectations with their exceptional service.nnFrom the moment we arrived, the welcome desk staff, led by Aaron, were incredibly kind, gifting our children stuffed animal toys which brought smiles during a somber occasion. The overall atmosphere was one of warmth and professionalism.nnThe standout was the floor housekeeper Victoria. Her attention to detail and genuine care was unparalleled. She ensured our room was not just clean, but immaculate, and her knowledge and pride in her work was truly evident. She offered us guidance and comfort, reflecting her long-standing commitment to the hotel. Her service was so impactful that my family felt compelled to recognize her as a key asset to the Intercontinental group.nnIf you're looking for a place that combines luxury with heartfelt service, the Intercontinental in Toronto is highly recommended. Thank you, especially to Victoria, for making our stay memorable under challenging circumstances.
