Ended up coming across this hotel last minute due to my flight being cancelled. Not a single issue booking, fast and easy. Room is clean and hot tub was a nice treat. Breakfast is good and they have a polite waiter to help out. Complimentary shuttle service back to the airport. All the workers I spoke to were friendly and accommodated me fantastically. It was a pleasant experience overall.
Always a pleasant stay each time here. Good rooms and quiet location away from the airport noise. Staff/GM are quite nice and personable including the restaurant staff in the lobby.
The quality of the experience here has gone down a bit. It's had been a few years since we stayed here and this time the hotel feels like its aged a lot, the room decor is cheaper looking, and plainer. There are no glass cups in the rooms, only paper. The lights are small, directional and the room felt so dark. We got a room with 2 queen beds for 3 people and there were only 2 towels.nnI mean, its fine. It'll do, but it isn't special or particularly nice.
We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport West/Mississauga for four nights.nnAt check-in, we were given two bottles of water, but no additional water was provided for the rest of our stay.nnRoom cleaning was only done once every two days, which was unexpected for us. This was our first time staying at a hotel with this level of service, so we are not sure if nearby hotels operate the same way.nnThe biggest issue was the air conditioning. It was very loud, and the airflow was extremely strong, making it difficult to sleep at night.nnOverall, the stay did not meet our expectations, and we will not return.
The hotel is located 12 minutes away from the airport. The kitchen staff were fantastic and friendly. Even though there were few options available for breakfast, but the kitchen staff made it a pleasant experience. However, terrible front desk experience: not responsive on phone, difficulties with communication, and failing to arrange shuttle from airport. We waited for 40 minutes at the airport and finally had to pay $44 for a taxi at the end. Our room was big and cozy, but the bathroom and supplies were OK. I may think twice to stay at this hotel next time.
