We stayed here in a room with a kitchen and we had a fantastic stay! Everything was extremely clean and I loved that the hotel was recently renovated. The front staff and guest services were very attentive and brought us what we needed when we called and asked. The pool was fun for our kids! I had called earlier and found out the slide was decommissioned 5 years ago, so be forewarned about that. The pool is still enjoyable without the slide!nnThe kitchen has pots, pans, mugs, plates and even a cutting board and a knife!Perfect for breakfast and a simple lunch or dinner.nnHighly recommend staying here!
The room was excellent. We had a separate living room area which gave a lot of extra space. Beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the variety of pillows provided.nnCheck in took a very long time. There was only one person on the front desk who was pre-occupied with another guest for about 20 min. Another time we went down to ask about the shuttle and could not find a staff member.nnThe shuttle was quick for both the drop off and pick up. The shuttle instructions say that pick up is terminal 1, but they also pick up at terminal 3!
My stay at Sandman was wonderful. I was there for 2 nights for a work trip. The employees were very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and organized and had everything I needed. I visited Denny’s for one of my dinners and it was great as well, good value and the food was great. The pool and hot tub were clean. I had no issues with noise or loud/rowdy guests. Overall such a great stay and I will definitely be coming back.
This was not a pleasurable stay. The bed mattress in room 1002 was broken. Who knows how old the mattress was but there was no support on one side of it. It was absolutely collapsed. The room itself was not very clean, dust everywhere, room paint was very rough and the bathtub that was located in the bedroom itself had iron burn marks in it really weird. We discovered this around 10:30 at night and brought it to the attention of the person at the counter in the morning and they couldn’t care less - she looked at me and said “okay”. We will be not coming back and recommend others try other hotels.
I've been to this hotel about 20 years ago, so I was worried it may have aged and not been maintained. But, it looks great. Staff member Prince was quick, friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and comfortable. The only thing was the pool was a little chilly and the waterslide wasn't on. Other than that, a great overnight stay.
