Food Mood: Korean & Japanese Kitchen

I tried the k-bites and a special treat from the chef. Amazing!! The food is obviously made with love, but it comes with such a gourmet presentation that you would never guess it was home cooked goodness! The beef, regardless of what you order it in, is so flavourful. The service is amazing and the mom/dad/daughter staff trio are so friendly. I've been to every Korean restaurant in Ottawa and this is hands down my new favourite! My new goal? Working my way through the menu. PS: ask them about the tables.

They are a really nice family and provide awesome service! I was really excited to finally have a place in Ottawa that makes Korean street food! I tried most of the food and everything is really good! The portions are nice and the prices a good too. I will definitely go there a lot. I highly recommend this place!

I've been at Food Mood with my boyfriend twice. The best Korean food I've tasted in Ottawa. It was delicious and not expensive it all. They were very fine with us. 고맙습니다!

Really good prices for the amount of food you get* (could get a bit more for the wings though). Staff were very friendly and it's a cute little shop with a good variety in Korean food and some fusions/creations of their own. Recommend you stop by and check it out!

Place is small so don't expect to get a table as business seems to be good for them . Affordable $-$$ and filling tasty dishes. I enjoyed the K-bites and love to try their other dishes soon. It's definitely one of those hole in the walls that will get some popular recognition for their comfort Korean food.
