Vittoria Trattoria

Had an amazing celebration for my moms birthday! The hostess made sure we got a booth and also let Mike know it was my moms birthday. I've never had my water filled instantly until I had Mike (The best waiter). He really made the dining experience awesome, he's on top of literally everything and makes sure everyones happy. Big shout out to the chef(s)/cooks you guys make some amazing food! Can't wait to come back.

Service is great. The place is very nicely laid out. We didn't quite like the pizza though. Especially for the price. Don't expect proper traditional Italian pizza. Ingredients could be nicer. The cheese on the pizza was not nice. The spicy oil is actually made of olive oil but not spicy. On the other hand mussels in curry sauce are tasty.

This place is very conveniently located in the Byward Market right in the middle of everywhere. At first it gives off an impression of too high dining, and while it is a very nice place inside, you do not need a reservation or special occasion clothes. The price is not expensive, although definitively not something affordable to eat all the time. They have gluten free options for many of their pasta menu items, which was a great plus. The taste was really good and the service was relatively fast. We would definitively consider going again.

Good food and service. We were seeking pasta or pizza but decided to try the fish and chicken dishes. Both meals were well presented and flavorful. Good portions as well.

An Ottawa "go-to" Italian spot. Great ambiance on the main floor, a quiet upstairs, and a cozy wine room for private events. Vittoria Trattoria has been consistently decent for years. I almost always start with the caprese , and there is a good variety of antipasti and mains.
