Metropolitain Brasserie Restaurant

Decent place for lunch, food was fresh and there are many options on the menu. The wait staff was friendly. Convenient location between downtown and the market. It would be a good idea to have a couple of dishes under 1000 calories.

The service here is A+! The waitress was really accommodating and made our first visit really special and nice. We had arrived past the dinner cut off time but she was still really accommodating to the food we can still order. She checked up on us regularly to make sure we were having a good time and that we had everything we needed. The oysters were really good! The escargot was delicious, the calamari was great and the sweet potato was delicious! All the sauces used complimented the food really well. The jumbo shrimps were also very delicious . We had a really nice meal and experience here! Also I need to mention that the washrooms smell heavenly haha!

I always go back in there for the lemon curd and cream (I feel like I got the name wrong)... It is just the right amount of rich, melts in your mouth. Service is always great too, everyone is so knowledgeable and they do their jobs with such finesse!

A beautiful bar with a French decor and great bartenders. It can be a bit more pricey and it is definitely not a late night party bar. Take your partners for a nice classy evening out at the Metropolitan.

Lovely decor, great beer and wine selection. Entrees are pricy but happy hour appetizers make up for this. Central location, no on site parking
