Story

Kochin Kitchen was born from the passion of three guys (all hail from the state of Kerala), who loves to cook and enjoy food. More importantly, from three guys who believe in Quality and Service. With that in mind, we shaped the Kochin Kitchen entity, and promised each other to strive for the two main aspects, without compromising value.

At Kochin Kitchen, we take Quality and Service very seriously. For this reason, we invite your comments: whether it be on the food, environment or the staff. Super tasty food. It was the perfect choice for date night and the wait staff was pleasant. The menu was everything you'd hope for with both details of the dish, and a medium list of choices... just enough options without being overwhelmed by them. Plates for sharing were provided upon the delivery of the food. Also being a short walk away from nightlife options makes it a great place to grab a meal before hitting the town with friends or your significant other. I'd happily recommend this place to people I know if they were visiting Ottawa.

The food here is delicious. Different grub the more popular Northern Indian dishes but very very tasty. The service is good. My only real complaint is that the menu feels as if it was written using Google translate, and thus the descriptions of dishes aren't always as clear as they could be. I find that since everything is good anyways it adds to the charm a bit.

My husband and I just found this place last week and are in heaven. We are used to northern Indian food so we wanted to see the difference between it and this southern Indian food. It is less cream-based and extremely flavourful. The food is amazing and the service is incredible. All staff are extremely warm and kind. We would (and will) recommend to anyone and everyone!

Went here with a friend on a Friday afternoon. Cosy place with good Indian music at just the right volume. We went for the buffet and we're not disappointed. All the dishes had a lot of flavor and I kept on going back for the salmon curry. Overall a pretty good meal at a comparatively low price. Worth it.

Food was tasty. That being said I don't think it was worth the price. 2 very small portions, some breads and a bit of rice and a small rice pudding for over $50. The rice pudding was basically just liquid with a couple lonely pieces of rice. Won't be going back or ordering from here again.
