I feel as though some of the reviews on here must be fake. Our experience at the restaurant was abysmal - you cannot call this ‘food’ Indian food. My boyfriend, who dined with me, has previously worked in restaurants and found the hygiene standards to be lacking. We had butter chicken, lamb curry, mango lassis and naan bread which all were made by cutting corners. The rice was dry, mango lassis were thin, tasted old and as though the mango was from powder, and both curries were under spiced and contained meat that tasted preprepared. The chicken was clearly off a rotisserie and not cooked in the actual curry (which was from a store bought mix with coconut milk) and extremely dry. What’s more, the meal (which had extremely small portions) came to $45 - not worth the price. Would not recommend this restaurant. There are many better options for dining in the byward area.

Good food, but, too expensive, 18 dollars for a plate... There other cheap options...
