Edmonton Public Library - Lois Hole (Callingwood)

Beautiful library with activities and books for kids. I also like their selection of magazines and newspapers. Many materials in international languages and good places to sit and study or just read.

The best public library in Edmonton! HUge variety of books, magazines, newspapers and specialties... movies,games and other reading materials. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

I love this place and visit it often. But I was quite annoyed yesterday. I am not sure if I was right or might be outdated. Library workers talked and laughed loudly when helping visitors. The sound was vibrating across the whole place. People were playing games using the library computers and spoke to other players over the headphones or just to themselves. These game players probably simply wanted to share their excitement with book readers.

This library is close by so we visit often. It's a beautiful library that's great for studying or even to entertain the kids. The kids area features a large train for the kids to climb aboard and read their favorite stories. It has a large colorful rug that often contains foam blocks or something else for the kids to explore. A few interactive stations hidden and in plain sight as well as a beautiful fishtank. My kids love the outdoor space as much as the indoor. Ample field space for running and playing and a few little hidden gems for the adventurous ones!

A great public library to read and relax. The staff have always been nice and the selection is pretty good for a library of this size. Also very easy to get to as it's walking distance from WEM.

Great staff and location. I just wish there were more places for me to sit and work as an individual.
