Stanley A. Milner Library (Under Revitalization)

It is honestly such a shame, because this library has so much potential. The space itself is beautiful and there are so many great things available, like 3D printers, a music studio, video games, tons of books, and plenty of activities. It could easily be an amazing community hub.nnUnfortunately, the experience of actually being there was really frustrating. It was very difficult to even find the entrance, since there are barely any clear signs or directions around the building. Most of the doors are labeled as emergency exits, which just adds to the confusion. Once you’re in, you can hardly even read the signs because of the glare.nnThe environment around and inside the library did not feel comfortable or safe. It felt like a homeless shelter or safe injection site. There were a lot of concerning situations happening, and even inside the building the atmosphere felt chaotic. At one point there was a fight that broke out. Then next time I looked over my shoulder, EMS had to come and treat someone else, which made things even more unsettling.nnThe washrooms were also in very poor condition, with a strong smell and people lingering in ways that made it uncomfortable to use the space.nnOverall, it is disappointing because the facility itself is excellent, but the lack of organization, cleanliness, and sense of safety really takes away from what could be a great place for studying, families, and the community.nnI would never let a woman or kid go here alone. Not even for a school field trip.

The Stanley A. Milner Library is an absolutely beautiful facility with state-of-the-art equipment rentals, wonderful children's play areas, and welcoming community spaces. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to use the PÎYÊSÎW WÂSKÂHIKAN Thunderbird House for our qulliq-making workshops, and we are so grateful for the opportunity.nThe space is perfect for gathering, learning, and sharing culture. It also provides a stunning setting for photos and videos, making our workshops even more special. Thank you to the library for supporting community programming and creating such an inclusive and inspiring space for everyone.nHighly recommend visiting!

I had an amazing experience at the library today, all thanks to Gabby.nnShe was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. What really stood out to me was that she wasn’t just helping me she was treating everyone who came to her with the same level of care and respect.nnHer customer service truly went above and beyond, and you can tell she genuinely cares about people. It’s rare to come across someone with such a positive attitude and real kindness.nnGabby made my visit smooth and stress-free, and I really appreciate the effort she puts into her work.nnWe honestly need more people like her in this world it would be a much better place.nnThank you for being awesome, Gabby.

I have never been here until today. It's unbelieve how big and elegant this building is. I spoke with the staff and found out it has more than just books. It has a fashion center to create clothes, a photo center, studio for music and video, printing and more. I came here for a fashion show. This is a great creative space. I would recommend for anyone in the arts to use this place as a great start.
