This library has an amazing children’s space. We are visiting from out of town and I read online that there was a great area for kids. That’s an understatement… so many fun things to do, play with and look at!! My daughter is almost 2 and had a wonderful morning at the library. Thank you!

Last place to visit today’s downtown tour with my kids. Nice facility and family friendly. Lot of things for kids!!!

The Stanley A. Milner Library in Downtown is really big, with many study areas.nnI walked through all the open floors and noticed that, in addition to books available for borrowing, they also have music CD, DVD and more.nnI found that they provide different types of multipurpose rooms for use, such as game zone and makerspace. It is very diverse and interesting.

Friendly peoplenAwesome environmentnAccessible buildingnPerfect locationnFree Wi-Fi, common!nShout out to Paladin Security and its staffsnnHowever, there needs to be some additional building features like quiet rooms for me to give this EPL 5/5 starts.nnI do not do well in noise environments. The library hours could be extended during the weekends. It would be lovely there could be more study spaces as I am visiting this EPL with my Sister and my Niece. They make a lot of noise as they are 12ys old and want to play instead doing their homework quietly.nnThis 2025, the MacEwan Library has lovely study spaces and updated iMacs, Standing Mechanical Desks, and quiet private rooms. This is what I look for in a library as I am not always attending university classes and my nice and sister are not there yet, so I visit the EPL downtown instead.nnI wish I had more privacy, or accessible features at this EPL as the Grant MacEwan University Library has.
