Edmonton Public Library - Woodcroft (Westmount)

You can tell this branch is a true community hub! This EPL location Is always bustling, with a wide age range of patrons enjoying the space.nnAlthough it's a smaller location than some other branches, Woodcroft has a really good selection of books and media to choose from its shelves. There are also plenty of computer spaces which can be reserved and study areas available. This location is also easy to access, with a fair amount of parking spaces and a bus stop right across the street.nnThe reason I gave this branch 5 stars is ultimately because of their staff. The librarians here are always cheerful and helpful, even while dealing with more challenging patrons. Multiple times when visiting, I have seen the Woodcroft staff assist individuals dealing with mental health crises, and they always do so with professionalism and compassion. I have been immensely impressed by the care they show for all their patrons, no matter their reason for coming to the library that day.

Fantastic place to read. I don't know why I like reading in public but I can't read at home. Too many distractions. Very friendly staff and very helpful as well and it was very easy to sign up and get a library card. I just came here to find a place to read and it's great. Lots of places to sit and lots of parking which is a big plus. Even if there parking gets full you have the mall parking lot across the street. The seats are really comfortable. They have everything in there as well if you need computers or printing. But this location will be my place to read now. Very Pleased

The staff is very kindly, the babys clases to much funny. It's a clean, organize and very cozy place.

Everytime I've been here the first Librarian I've spoken to has instantly solved my issue. EPL is providing an incredibly valuable public service.nnThis is a smaller branch, but it's clean and nice and the staff are amazing.

More or less it is good but there are some people who shout and talk a chit chat inside the library which affects other readers, this should need correction!!!!
