Ive been in line for 45 minutes waiting to speak to a teller. So slow and they do not hire more for busy days. Way too slow and theres a lineup behind me, 8 ppl. Cmon cibc, get your stuff together.
It seems impossible to make an appointment to talk to anyone. Go in person and they tell you to make an appointment online. Go online there might be an appointment many weeks in the future. Call them to make an appointment you go to the voice mail where they promise to call you back but never do.
Might switch to different bank, very hard to deal with their employees, we keep our money there but they act like they’re giving me free service!
I have worked in banking for many years, and I can say with complete honesty that I have NEVER seen people as dumb or as useless as the employees at this branch. They can't complete the most basic of transactions, even at senior or management level, and they get mad when asked to perform anything more complex than a cash withdrawal. I don't think there's a rating low enough to accurately portray the incompetence here. When I tried to speak with the manager to get help with a time-sensitive transaction, relating to an estate settlement, she actually refused to speak with me. I truly don't understand why anyone would pay these people, or trust them, to handle their banking. I hope I never have to do business with CIBC again, and certainly never at this branch.
Hurry up!!! This place is so bloody slow. Stop chit chatting with the customers and just do your job. Some of us are in a hurry. Unfortunately had to be here 2 days in a row and ive been waiting minimum 30 minutes. Stop saying be with you shortly. SLOW AS HELL!!!!!
