Please avoid their service department at all cost. I towed my X5 due to sensors malfunctioning which created my vehicle to be inoperable. The following day I notified the service department and I experienced hostile behaviour by a service representative since I didn’t have my vehicle identification number and I didn’t put my name on my keys when the tow truck driver placed it in the after hours mailbox. Again, I explained my vehicle was towed to their facility and the ownership was within the vehicle. Due to their response, I dropped everything and proceeded to the dealership and explained my frustration with the Manger on duty. He apologized for the negative experience and introduced me with an experienced service advisor in order to address the issues with my vehicle.nnFor two days I had to follow up with my service advisor, Andy Deng. Without me following up with him on both days there would have been no progress in locating the issues with my vehicle. Once they diagnosed my car,Mr. Deng suggested that multiple parts were needed to be replaced and the car had to be reprogrammed. Even with their recommendations they gave no guarantees that my vehicle will be fixed. In total, they charged me for pushing my vehicle into the shop and for multiple hours for brainstorming possible solutions in fixing my vehicle. Please be advised that they insisted on replacing both batteries to OEM standards even though there was nothing wrong with the aftermarket batteries.nnDue to the negative experience, I immediately towed the vehicle and brought it to another repair facility. The cause of my breakdown was due to an oil sensor which malfunctioned $110 - part cost. The total cost of BMW repair would have been over 3k where they would changed unnecessary parts and they had no idea how to fix my vehicle.nnI found Mr. Deng to be insensitive and lacked customer service skills. He was trying to push unneeded repairs to my vehicle and he wasn’t looking at the best interests of the customer. I explained my frustration to the Manger where little help was given.nnI highly suggest in repairing and servicing your vehicle at another location.nnI am an avid car enthusiast and buy numerous vehicles with a year. I’ve have never seen such poor customer service and I’m shocked that BMW would treat their customers in this manner.
