Hello all, I just wanted to share my experience with the customer service at this ford dealership young and steels: Firstly, for the past couple of months I have had issues with the driver door. It essentially freezes and does not allow me to open it, no matter how many times I unlock. Both when sitting inside the car trying to get out, or the other way around it does not let me come inside from outside. I am forced to go in through the passenger doors. The most important thing to understand is that it gets stuck when I am inside the car, essentially trapping me inside. Either way, I have brought it multiple times to repair and they have not fixed anything and keep making excuses, not giving a proper reason as to why the door is not getting fixed. Not being able to open a door ESPECIALLY the driver door is a tremendous safety hazard and they should not let me drive an unsafe car, yet they do. They do not offer any solution and simply tell me to continue driving, but how can I when there is a major safety concern? I am a single mother with this being the only car I am able to use so when it is in the shop, I have no way to go to work or take my kids to their extra curricular activities. In addition, I live in Richmond hill which is over half an hour on a good day without traffic away from the dealership. This is all to say that it is extremely difficult for me to constantly come and leave my car there for days. I just want some sort of solution because I am not getting any and this is genuinely a safety concern to be honest at this point.
I was looking to finance a vehicle for the first time, I have always owned. My sales representative Mr. Cyrus was really a pleasure to work with and guided me through the transaction. He cares for your business and the customer. He was extremely helpful as well and was there to help make sure that all my questions and concerns were taken care of. Big thanks to him and Ms lidjia for making me feel very comfortable. I am loving my new Ford F-150.
Ivan Cristofoli was a great service advisor; took care of me in every aspect and was very responsive as well since I bought my Fusion in 2012 and Fiesta in 2013. This week, my 2014 Fiesta had a serious issue with the transmission and I came to Ivan directly and he helped me out and my car was fixed after 3 days. I’ve never experienced such great service from other dealerships.
Got our new F150 here, salesperson Dishant was friendly and very knowledgeable about the truck. He and his team members were able to quickly hand over the keys in a week!
I bought a ford Bronco from this place about a month ago. The sales were smooth and everyone was smiling and professional! I get the car and after a week realize that I don’t like the sound system. So I found a sound bar on ford website. Called the parts and they told me they have the ones for 2 doors and not 4 doors. I looked at the website and there’s no difference in terms of spec. I asked them if they know the difference and they say they don’t know! No one were able to answer me and they weren’t able to get the 4-door sound bar. So I asked 2 times to talk to a manager no body called. After a 2 weeks of driving I smell something burning when I go over 3-4 rpm. I call the service and arrange the appointment. I get there on a snowy day at 8am. The guy is telling me I’m not on the system. Then he tells me if I can take the car back and bring it back the other day because it’s snowing! I’m like buddy, you are a service centre and cannot increase the RPM without ripping it on the street? They accept my argument hesitantly. They call me back after some hours telling me the car is ready. I ask them if they offer customer pick up and the operator tells me she doesn’t know. I get there and they give me the car without anyone giving me any explanation of what’s wrong with the care. Just a brief note. Honestly I spent almost 70k there and the service I got is absolutely ridiculous. I’m already sad that I have go and deal with that centre again. Horrible customer service! Shocking!
They can’t even fix a leaky tire. After 2 attempts. First they say there is no leak. Then they say the found a nail. A month later, still leaks. Avoid and do not use. They are untruthful and do stand by their work.
Thank you so much to Hafiz and the team at Yonge Steeles Ford. Our Ecosport was towed to their location in May due to an engine issue. An issue which should have been addressed at our local dealership prior. It was determined that a new engine was needed. Living a 3 hour drive from the dealership was a challenge, but they were able to obtain a rental for us for the entire time the car was being fixed. We are so very happy to have our car back and at minimal costs thanks to Hafiz for fighting for our warranty! When my faith in Ford products was down, Hafiz restored it with all the work they have done for us. Thank you again for all of your help!
ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I left messages for an entire week in an attempt to purchase a vehicle on their lot and not once did I get a call back. I was finally able to speak with a sales person and he was absolutely rude! I asked about a specific vehicle, and asked for the specs and price - I was told it is a 'luxury vehicle' and it came with every option, and that a window sticker price would not be what he would sell it to me for because this dealership has the largest in stock inventory and I would have to pay extra for the availability. When I questioned some of what he was saying, he advised me they could make more money selling their vehicles to a US Ford dealership vs selling to me and they didn't need my sale. You should teach your staff to treat all potential customers with some basic common courtesy and respect because your dealership is seriously lacking it!
