Aesthetic and beautiful desserts! We had the Exotic mango coconut, La Roche, Pistachio, and the Lemon Yuzu Tart. Each small one was about 9$, which is quite expensive. This led to higher expectations on the taste and quality of the pastries. I expected them to be more cakey, but they turned out as just pure sweet mousse really, which i found quite disappointing. The croissant on the other hand was better, it was fluffy on the inside, crunchy and glossy on the outside!
First impression of this bakery, there's so much empty space. Second impression, everything looks pretty to eat. Got a bunch of cream cakes to try. Unfortunately they do not travel well. The cream is like mousse so they are jiggly. I think if they used cake collars that would solve the issue. By the time I brought them to the restaurant they looked to be melting, which was disappointing. They did taste good. They were not super sweet but they all had the same texture which was a bit boring. With such open space I wish they had some table and chairs to enjoy the cakes on the spot.
Fantastic pastry, very good coffee. But the place has few spots to sit and tables for the amount of space. They also don’t have washroom.nnPastry and cakes are tasty but the price is atrocious. It is not sustainable to ask 10$ for a mini desert. Pastry prices are okay.nnAlso ordered a “Duet” cake, it’s very chocolate and raspberry ganache perfectly fits. And in my opinion the top glaze was uneven.
The best cake, pastries, croissant and macaroons I’ve ever tasted. The pastries are scrumptious. It looks as good as it tastes. I just wanted to take it all home. I am fan of chocolate, I always choose chocolate for cakes but the options here were so good I end up choosing St Honore and I loved it.
As someone who travels the world and has experienced patisseries in many corners of the globe, I can confidently say that Amadeus stands in a league of its own. The taste, quality, and presentation are nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets this place apart is the perfect balance of flavors—allowing the ingredients to shine without overwhelming sweetness.nnIt’s evident how much effort, care, and professional artistry go into every creation. Amadeus is not just a patisserie; it’s a celebration of culinary art. Thank you for sharing your masterpieces with us and for making each visit an unforgettable experience.nEsther.
