Yang's Fine Chinese Cuisine

We got a set menu for $299, but they did bring out a larger fish/lobster and said they would charge the difference. They want cash payment, not visa and debit although they do have a card machine. The food itself was satisfactory, with quality and freshness of the dishes evident.

Not a bad spot for dim sum, but not a top pick in the area. There was no line on a Saturday morning. The staff were friendly and polite. Our bill came to $150 for five people; tips automatically added to the bill.

I was here several times many years ago. The dishes were delicious. But now, don’t go. There are so many good places in Markham.

Dim sum was delicious, great service. Private dinning. Good for groups or couples for date night.

First time trying this place out and food-wise it was quite good. The quality of the dim sum meals were on par, if not slightly better than other places. That said, operationally, the waiters sometimes seemed confused about which meals were brought out already and forgot to prepare some meals for us until we reminded them. Not a deal breaker at all, but still something to consider. Overall, still had a good experience here, and I would still recommend this place if you're in the area.

Edit: Now 2nd time customer. I decided to have lunch dim sum again and I had to order in person because the phone line was constantly busy. I got there I ordered it quickly and waited about 20 minutes for everything to be prepared. The dim sum was as good as last time and really it tasted as I expected dim sum should. I would say the value is fair to good mainly due to the covid inflation we've all been experiencing everywhere. This time I ordered a few more dishes which are shown pictures 4 and 5 overhead shot with more dimsum came to just over $100.00. I enjoyed it and I thought it was good I'm hoping to come back for dinner to try it out. ---- First time customer, I was ordering dim sum during the latest covid shutdown. I enjoyed the food and I thought it was fairly decent. The thing with dim sum is you expect it to taste a certain way and nothing in these dim sum had disappointed me. The value was fair and the food quality I thought was good. It took about 25 minutes from the time I placed the order to getting it into my car. I've also just recommended this to my family as well because I thought it was pretty good. Hopefully it will be as good the next time I order. The fifth star rating will come after a place shows consistency in it's food and by that I mean if the next few times is as good.

Food lives up to its name Yang's Fine Chinese Cuisine, keyword being fine. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great food but on the pricey side, not sure if the extra paid was worth the taste.

It was a family dinner and there’s no table outside when we arrived, they escorted us to the private room and the female waitress recommended us to have set dinner. We just want something simple since it’s not any celebration but a normal dine out. When she returned and we told her we will just order dishes from the menu, she has changed her face and asked us to write down the items ourselves and walked out from the room. Food quality is honestly not bad and we do like it but with this kind of service is terrible. When we pay the bill, she told us it’s 20% on top and it’s already on the bill…!!!! We paid and walked out, definitely will be return to this restaurant anymore with the way they treated the customers. 200% NO!!

Come here for dim sum if you want fresher/better taste and less crowds compared to other *ahem* popular places in the area! More pleasant/cleaner atmosphere, less busy, similar prices. It's our "go-to" if we're wanting dim sum but forgot/didn't have time to make a reservation!
