Elegance Dim Sum Cuisine

Among the best value for taste in Richmond Hill is Elegance Dim Sum Cuisine! It’s more than a dim sum place, as it also serves up a lobster dinner set menus and a wide selection of combos. We really enjoyed their special set for 2, including double lobsters 2.5 lbs. It also comes with soup, along with stir-fried beef with honey & black pepper sauce. The lobster is small in statue but the succulent meat is sweet & savoury in the popular Maggi sauce or ginger & onion. We’ve also tried many dishes from their combo choice menu. Fried fish in creamy corn sauce is light yet satisfying. Salt & pepper pork chop was hearty. Shrimp with Maggi sauce was good, and could’ve been better hot from the kitchen. Their dim sum was only available frozen during lockdown restriction. Surprisingly, takeout dim sum items were outsourced and didn’t taste great at home. Hence we haven’t tried their dine-in now despite the spacious high ceiling interior.

We were pleasantly surprised since we have never been here before. We ordered the set meal for eight even though there were only 5 of us. Everything was good, large portion. Friendly staff. It was a really hot day out and it was warm inside. It must have been hard to cool this place since the ceiling was so high. I was soaked in sweat, but it was still great with good food and good friends.

It looks like they changed owner. They still have < $4 for S,M,L dim sums before 11 am. They also have very affordable lunch menus. Decent quality for the price. I would love to come back to try other items.

Restaurant is spacious, prices were reasonable. Portions were big and the food tasted good. Would recommend if you looking for a reasonably priced Chinese restaurant that tastes good.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality & portion size of their dim sum dishes; fresh, hot and made to order, what not to like? Not to mention all sizes S,M,L were STILL at $4.50/each everyday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm -- A phenomenal you won't often find restaurants continue to offer single-pricing these days in a post-pandemic world with inflation approaching a 31-year high. At the time of writing I ordered one of their lunch specials written in Chinese on a green piece of paper, which ranged from $8.99 - $9.99 with a variety of made fresh to order rice dishes, stir-fry noodles, soup noodles, etc., all of which included your choice of hot coffee, HK style milk tea or yuenyeung tea or lemon tea/water. Iced options is also available for an extra $1.50. A bargain IMO especially coming from a Cantonese style restaurant. *Note: The food quality maintained the same from my second try. Overall, I'd rate this restaurant to be a "worthy of return"

Average dim sum with average prices. The waiters are attentive and the restaurant seems clean. The spring rolls and spare ribs were mediocre, although I did enjoy the rice noodles. They have a deal where a table of 4 or more get a free abalone and chicken congee after 11am, which was nice.

Great Chinese restaurant with high ceiling and beautiful design left mostly from previous owner. Service was friendly and good. Yuki served us with kindness. Dim sum was affordable and good, hard to find A M L for single price $4.50 now a days. Lunch special was a good deal for lobster noodles and chicken abalone congee. Don't expect actual whole abalone pieces though, just diced canned ones perhaps. Washrooms are unfortunately down a set of stairs, may not be too user-friendly for elderly.

The dim sum is $4.88 for S/M/L until 3:30pm, very good deal! The quality is pretty good. The only comment is the tables placing too close to each other and very packed.

Decent dim sum and settings, love the high ceilings and the fish ball noodle soup served with deep fried fish skins. Note that all day dim sum special has gone up in price $5.5 for S,M,L.

Food was good quality. Comfortable seating. During weekdays, they have same price deal for all SML dimsums. $5.28 per dish. There wasn’t a good variety though.
