Clean and spacious dim sum place. The abalone with seafood soup is delicious. It actually contains a tiny piece of abalone in it and the price is reasonable. Most of the dim sums were fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the egg tart’s pastry went bad with a sour taste. When we told the manager, he just said he will remove from our order without giving proper apologies. This was disappointing because otherwise I enjoyed the rest of the food.
$10.99 honey BBQ pork with rice! Very juicy, sweet and sticky! Best BBQ pork we had in Toronto so far. Beef short rib was tasty too. But we found 1 piece was half cooked. Garlic rib, fried squid tentacles and baby pig knuckles were good too. Other dim sum were average. Steamed rice … you can skip. They charged $2 for the tea for each person.
In a plaza with tons of parking. Easy access right off 404/16th. Great service and tables were spaced out. Food was delicious. We had dim sum during Chinese new year and the service and food was great. My first time here and definitely not my last. I'd recommend dim sum here. Will try dinner service one day.
It's great to have a Chinese banquet-style restaurant in North Markham, but the overall experience was average. I made a reservation online, but still had to wait for 20 minutes for a table upon arrival. There is a large waiting area, and then the restaurant is split between two seating areas, so it's quite spacious. The dim sum selection was good, but the food lacked flavour. Service was excellent because our empty dishes were cleared frequently and our tea pots were filled.
Super fast and efficient service and delicious food! Everything we ordered tasted great. The only criticism would be the eggplant noodles: dish tasted as if someone had accidentally spilled too much vinegar in it. Didn’t taste like what it was supposed to but was still edible.
Food quality is average. Service is standard. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Table setting is comfy and have reasonable separation with one another. The menu carries great variety of dim sum and price is kind of reasonable in the area. I would give it 5-star if food quality could be better and service could be more friendly.
Great price on Dim Sum on weekdays order before 11am, only $4.88 each for all S, M and L size dish. Server Ken is very helpful, highly praised
I had a terrible experience when I ordered their dim sum dishes. The shrimp and scallop dumplings were undercooked and had a slimy texture, making the dish virtually inedible. It was evident that the seafood had not been properly prepared, and it was clear that the restaurant didn't care about the quality of their food. To make matters worse, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful when I brought up the issue. When I politely explained the problem with my dish, they dismissed my complaint and didn't even offer to replace the dish or provide an alternative option. Their lack of concern and apathy was incredibly frustrating and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The food was of poor quality, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent meal
Nice place for an intimate family dinner, quality food and good service, noise level is very good for quiet conversations, but the prices are a bit on the high side for common Chinese dishes. Not too busy for a Saturday evening, we got seated immediately without a reservation. Great combo dinner dishes, the good quality continues.
Consistently good Chinese cuisine with a nice patio dining area. Service is pretty good, although a bit spotty if you’re in the patio.
