Heard good thing about this place from a group of friend just dine here few days ago so we decided to come here today to check it out. I’ve inquired the price on the king crab lobster meal as it was listed as seasonal, and the waitress told us price of $799 cad. So we only had one adult and two kids and one adult whom is vegetarian, therefore there is no way we will order that for 4 person meal.  Right after that, you can sense the service level just went down hill, after I asked if they can customize it similar to Fisherman Lobsters house? For $499?  As even if I came with 4 adults, We won’t able to finish 7.5lb of king crab w/ 4 course and 7lbs of lobster w/ 3 course.. so we asked for other menu and the lady said they don’t have other menu and was kinda enforced upon the lobster combo meal for $188 plus a vegetable fried noodles dish.  3 stars was for food and no stars for services.  Our total bill came out to 283 plus tips. So if you are a tourist, I guess it might be better to go with locals to eat here!  After we left, we saw other diner order other dishes from the regular menu and even one couple stated she was allergic to seafood ‍. They were able to order from the other menu. So I felt that was totally not called for to provide their main menu.

Their lobster dishes are so tasty!! We had lobster prepared 3 different ways, sauteed, deep fried and with glass noodles. The lobster with glass noodles was my favorite. It was topped with lots of green scallions giving the dish such a unique freshness. The service here is also amazing. Several of the staff checked in on us to make sure we were okay throughout our meal and offered clean plates frequently. The staff came out at the end of our meal with such a thoughtful birthday greeting as well. 100% recommend this restaurant if you like seafood and for their amazing service!!

As a seafood lover, Omei is always the best choice of mine and definitely worth 5 stars rating.  We had jumbo lobster with 4 different cooking styles. I mostly like the streamed with vermicelli and green scallions, I can taste of the freshness and seems healthier.  Ginger and scallions is definitely tasty.  The deep fried in pepper and salt didn't feel oily at all, and the left over crispy breading good to serve with the fried rice.  And we also had a streamed egg with lobster paste too.  Service was excellent and friendly smiling staffs.  Highly recommended place to fulfill your stomach. Will definitely go again. :D

Not sure if the review would be helpful as I went for a celebration kind of dinner.  The food overall was pretty good and the servers were attentive enough that you felt like things are getting done.  I would recommend coming here at least once if you're into Chinese food.

Visiting from NYC and staying a couple of blocks from Omei we decided to give it a try with their good reviews and customer photos of various seafood.  We are glad we did as we were met by the friendly and entertaining owner whom introduced us to the menu and dinner sets.  We went with the geoduck sashimi special with the other half deep friend.   We also ordered a dinner set consisting of a large dungenous crab cooked 2 ways, soup, sautéed snow pea leaves and mushrooms, garlic pepper fried pork chops, and a selection of Chinese desserts.  Every dish and ingredient was fresh and prepared with care.  Service was prompt and attentive.  The owner was friendly and a great guy whom we enjoyed conversation with over dinner.  We will certainly we back the next time we are in town!

Bro. You gotta come here for your birthday dinner. Like holy sh*t, they give you so many desserts missing the deep fried egg dough with red beans in pic but there are 4 desserts if you look closely and sing for you making you feel like the king/queen. Food was decent and price was fair. Just the service itself would be enough for the 5 stars. Cheers to the owner Mr Yip.

Great tasting food. They specialize in seafood, especially King crab. All their seafood are usually cooked in several ways. The legs are steamed with 2 different variations, then the upper legs are also done 2 ways, and then the body another way, the head gets used in fried rice. Lots of choices, many different flavours profiles. Very popular, make sure you make reservations! Save room for desserts!!! Lots of complimentary desserts as well!

After so many you tuber introduced this restaurant I gave it a try,2 stars is for the food. Almost no service, there are two of us, ordered one crab,half chicken and vegetables total 3 entrees with hot tea dinner cost me $155 +tip$15 total $170. There were 6 of them waitresses and manager, no one stop by to refill the tea,my dinner platefull of crab n chicken bones but the worst  part of the dinner was the wait for each dish. The veggie came out first, 15 minutes later, the crab and 20 minutes past, still waiting for the chicken, could not wait any longer so I asked, they must have forgotten, it came right away. …the restaurant was not too busy. Anyway if you are a tourist I suggest you go somewhere else so many good restaurants around this area $155 over charge.The crab $88 the waitress say is cheap ,last week was $110. By the way the restaurant charge us is a Dungeness crab is not Alaska crab or king crab. Do NOT eat here.

Great location. Beautiful decorations.  &gt; Authentic Cantonese dimsum dishes.  &gt; Very nice service.  &gt; Very pricey & very pricey & very pricey.  &gt; Customer should ALWAYS check the bill vs dishes the servers bring out. Most the time they don’t match, meaning the dishes bring out are less than charged on bill.  &gt; Washroom cleanliness should be improved. High-end Chinese seafood restaurant. The ambiance is not as high-end as it seems given the price. The service seems rushed and confusing. The quality of the food is excellent given the price, but you get what you pay for.
