I can’t differentiate betwwwn Value Village and Value Village Boutique? Somehow both are thrift store. And this store is located along Bloor St nearer to Leslieville, no doubt it called boutique. The old building with beautiful structures is stunning like walk into vintage boutique and price here a bit higher, definitely depends on its location. Frankly speaking, I really don’t like here, no many households item and the pathway too narrow, hardly to search when it’s crowded.
I’ve been to this location a handful of times and usually enjoy it. I’ve picked up a handful of great things over time, and have included some examples with pricing below. The sezanè cardigan for 11.99 in nearly new condition was definitely one of my better finds.nnIn terms of the selection, I would say the shoes are a hit or miss, bags aren’t typically good or are a tad overpriced, and the jackets are good but also sometimes over priced.nnAdditionally, I think this location sees a lot of traffic. I’ve regularly seen the same folks there a few times now and believe they are probably vintage re-sellers. I’d suggest to stop by on a restock weekday or between 10-12 Saturday before they get busy.
Please stock better quality items. This is like any other value village. Also, please please get some air purifier/scents going so it doesn’t smell so musty. Thirdly, if you’re not going to have change rooms available for customers to try things on in then you should be offering a full refund not just a “store credit” that expires after a very short period of time. The overall experience could easily be significantly improved. My two cents. Thanks!
I think it's quite pricey for a second-hand store! But everywhere else is anyway. I'm rating good because the chances of finding real good stuff are higher than other thrift stores. Found a vintage Marmot ski jacket here for cheap. The quality of stuff here is so good too. Some look they've been worn only once. Place is spacious and well-lit. Also not hard to navigate the area. Some Value Village boutiques are too narrow. Come before closing, there are less people more elbow room.
For men's items the section is small. Thus location is targeted to women's items. However the place is clean and tidy and most of the items I saw were in decent shape.
