I had an exceptional experience at Michaels today while getting a beautiful wedding photo framed. The staff member who helped me, Ping, went above and beyond with her customer service—she truly cared and demonstrated a level of expertise that is hard to find.nnPing advised me on frame selection and helped design the perfect matting for the photo. She even assisted me through multiple phone calls with the photo printing service to ensure we got the correct size and resolution. Once everything was ready, she wrapped the frame beautifully, double-checked the image, and made sure it was exactly how I envisioned it.nnPing isn’t just a framing expert at Michaels—she’s someone who genuinely cares about her customers’ experiences. She goes out of her way to provide the best value and makes Michaels the only place I’ll consider for framing. The store is on the third floor which isn't obvious if you approach from the north. Also a bit confusing because the third floor is only one floor up from ground... Way funding in this ball could be drastically improved. Once inside it was clean but online order pickup wasn't well signed and I did a lap of the die before I noticed it and got lucky with an employee noticing me looking.nnHowever the employees were excellent and very fast.

Love the store. Usually I easily find what I need and of course with a little help from a very friendly people who work in the store. Marianne was amazing today, having a smile and an excellent custom service. Please give her a raise and a promotion .nThank you

The shop was very short staffed. When I needed assistance, I walked around the shop 3, 4 times and couldn’t find one available staff that could help me. However, when the staffs were helping me they were very friendly and helpful. And I had to say that it was very difficult for me to find the shop since Google didn’t even mention that it’s not on ground floor

Is it really that difficult to be polite to people? I wanted to buy more of the Eco Cotton I purchased in the fall because it’s made from RECYCLED cotton and is softer and easier to work with than the Loops & Thread Classic Cotton. It also has more yardage at a lower price. When I could not find it on the shelf, I asked at the counter. The woman cut me off mid sentence and made me listen to a SNARKY as heck misinformed monologue about the history of rebranding for the classic cotton still being sold and how there was no difference between the two. I tried to explain and offered to show her my receipt that clearly shows it was a different yarn altogether. She did not take a moment to look at the receipt, offered more snark and then just walked away. I would ask Michaels to consider restocking the Eco Cotton however it is unlikely I will shop here again. Thankfully there are loads of other places to buy yarn where the employees are both friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the products. EDIT: a quick internet search revealed that the Eco Cotton has been discontinued not rebranded which is really too bad. Now I will never be able to finish my project.
