Travelodge Lethbridge

Check in was easy despite the card keep not working through the ‘stay’. Had to get it redone 3 times within my 5hrs. The 5hrs resulted in 2 things.. went to have a shower and bugs found behind the bathroom door and in the tub. Opted not to shower. I was told I was given a newly renovated room.. it was dated and dark. The bedding looked clean so when I was ready to settle in, the fire alarm went off. I vacated the property and found an alternate hotel nearby. I did not feel safe in this location and was travelling alone.nI called the front desk after leaving and requested reimbursement as I did not stay the evening and in total between checking in and vacating, it was approximately 5 hrs. I still have not heard back from the manager as I was told I would get a call back asap.nDo not stay at this hotel if you want to feel safe and have a peace of mind. It is noisy, dirty and darkly lit.

Convenient location but you definitely get what you pay for.. even the renovation rooms are extremely dated. The doors are thin and gave me a lot of anxiety about break ins.nThe breakfast was alright but the staff were extremely hit and miss.. one was quite helpful and friendly but the other two were not. Very difficult to converse with and not helpful, one of them almost seemed as if she was high on the job.nOverall.. only decent for a short stay, one or two nights max. I stayed for nearly 4 weeks and wouldn’t recommend it.

Probably one of the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. First impressions upon arrival was a very unkept and dirty. Took at least 15 minutes to check in and I was the only one there! Once entering the room, I was greeted by a horrendous smell of mould! The wallpaper was peeling from the walls and was also bubbling due to mould underneath the wallpaper. There was mould on the ceilings and damp spots. The extractor fan in the washroom was not working. There was hair on the bedding. And cobwebs on the ceiling. I was told upon arrival there was a hot breakfast in the morning, which had been paid for. Come the morning. There was no hot breakfast because they said there wasn’t enough guests. There was a choice of three muffins that were all stale, and probably sat there for at least a week. I wouldn’t even let my dogs stay at this hotel!

Stayed here with a friend while on vacation. Our stay was throughout the week and getting rest after 10pm was easy as it was like the city had a curfew. The traffic noise seemed to diminish and the doors to the rooms that had to be reefed on to close and subsequently be slammed seemed to stop. The bed was comfy, the room had a kureig, microwave, mini fridge and tv with basic cable. It was clean. Everything you could ask for with a place to crash.

Nice rooms where not the cleanest. The employees were nice the only thing that didn’t make this 5 star is that the food was never stocked up. Everything usually had enough for 1 person so we had to keep asking for refills but the refills were very minimal. The food tasted not great but not terrible. The potatoes tasted good but need a little less salt. 1 last thing fix the elevator very inefficient takes 5 minutes to even come there are 3 floors!
