The Hospital for Sick Children

We visited the SickKids Hospital Cardiac Clinic and had a very positive experience overall. We had to travel nearly two hours to get there and arrived about 45 minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment. Despite being early, the staff were incredibly accommodating and quickly arranged for the echo and ECG tests to be done right away, which saved us a lot of waiting later.nnThere was a bit of a delay in seeing the doctor. In fact, it was even a bit later than our original appointment time but we understand that specialists like cardiac doctors can be very busy, and we truly appreciate the time they dedicate to each patient. Once we did meet the doctor, the consultation was thorough, informative, and reassuring.nnThe staff were kind, professional, and efficient throughout the visit. The clinic environment is clean, organized, and very child-friendly, which helped ease any stress or anxiety. In and out, it was a smooth process and worth the long drive. We’re grateful for the care and attention we received and would definitely recommend this clinic to other families seeking pediatric cardiac care.nnA truly positive experience at one of the best hospitals for children in Ontario.

I visited today, I have found it clean and pleasant, attending nurses and doctors are doing good job, however waiting time is too long. I have found prayer halls for Muslims and christian. Very quiet and nicenIt is located at the First floor

Anybody that’s posting a review that’s less than five stars must be confused with what hospitals are about. Because I have never seen the type of care in my life as I’ve seen for my goddaughter who has been in and out of sick kids hospital since she was eight years old. She’s now almost 18 years old and the amount of love and support and compassion that she receives from the nurses and the doctors is unbelievable. They are so organized in all of their processes. They communicate well amongst themselves. I love that the kids can get whatever they want to eat from downstairs I love that the parents have a nice little comfy couch to sleep on at night. I love that even in the emergency department there’s a place for the kids to play in each room like if they’re quite a bit smaller toddler size, I love how quickly you move through emerge. Certainly you may wait to go upstairs for a while, but to see how quickly the children get into the rooms instead of having to sit in the waiting room for nine hours straight like at Brampton Civic hospital is a really beautiful thing to see. They really really make the experience as comfortable as possible, all of the walls are painted beautifully Going down the long hallway, so that the kids don’t feel scared when they’re going to their appointment appointments. Even the CT scan room is just painted beautifully. The machine at itself looks like a ship. It’s just wonderful. I’m really impressed with the level of care and compassion that my goddaughter has been receiving, and also the amount of support that mommy has been receiving as well and I couldn’t be more grateful for such a wonderful team of people.

SickKids Hospital is truly exceptional! From the moment you step inside, you can see how clean and organized every corner is. The level of care and responsibility they show is unmatched. The hospital is so large and well-equipped, it feels like an entire city dedicated to healing and hope. Every staff member we encountered was professional, compassionate, and went above and beyond to provide top-notch care. Their state-of-the-art facilities and attention to detail make it clear that this hospital is committed to excellence. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a world-class institution.

This world-class facility is the best for specialized treatment and care for kids. The state of the art care facility is 'research-intensive' for complex pediatric treatment. Well qualified and friendly doctors, caring nurses, and staff, calm and welcoming kid friendly environment - all make this establishment the best of the best. It also has a nice food court in the atrium with a couple of common fast food franchis, Cafe, Sushi etc and adequate underground parking lot.
