I had my baby here. Extremely good obgyns, doctors and nurses. I felt very supported and listened to my entire pregnancy. Instead of going to ER they have a separate pregnancy ward and they always support and take care of you no matter what scare you may be having. I stayed for 5 days for my entire induction and delivery and everything. I am grateful to everyone.
I absolutely loved my entire birthing experience at Mount Sinai Toronto. From my OB prenatal appointments with Dr. John Snelgrove to the delivery and postpartum care, everything was beyond amazing. They didn't send me home as my water-broke. The nurses and staff were so warm, kind, and genuinely caring — it truly felt like everyone was invested in making sure both me and my baby were doing well. Nothing ever felt rushed or delayed; everything happened so naturally, at the right time, with the right experts guiding us.nnThey not only took care of all the postpartum essentials me and my baby but also made sure we learned so much during the postpartum phase. The number of specialists who checked in and the level of attention we received were simply incredible. I’m so grateful to every doctor, nurse, and staff member who made this experience so positive, comforting, and memorable. It’s something I’ll cherish forever.
We gave birth at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and had an amazing experience on both the 15th floor labour and delivery unit and the 16th floor mother and baby unit. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported, safe, and genuinely cared for.nnDuring labour and delivery, we were lucky to have Nurse Sophie with us. She was incredible. So kind, calm, and encouraging throughout the entire process. She made sure we were comfortable, explained everything clearly, and was just an amazing presence to have by our side. We’ll never forget how much of a difference she made during such an important moment in our lives.nnThe facilities were great. The birthing suite was clean and well set up, with a big window and lots of space to move around. After delivery, we were moved up to the 16th floor where the care continued to be excellent. The nurses there were just as kind and helpful, checking in often and supporting us as new parents.nnMount Sinai truly lived up to its reputation as one of the best places to give birth in Ontario. Everyone we met was professional, compassionate, and made us feel like we were in good hands. We are so thankful for the care we received, and we’ll always remember it as a special part of our journey.
On October the 2, 2025, I visited the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Mount Sinai Hospital for an examination of a large radiolucent lesion on my left ramus. I was referred by Dr. Justine Chan and Dr. Kevin Gavet.nnFrom registration to consultation, every step of my visit was handled with professionalism and care. The registration and customer service staff were welcoming and efficient, and the nurse who escorted me was exceptionally kind.nnI was seen by Dr. Karl Cuddy and two other specialists who took the time to explain my condition, discuss treatment options, and ensured I was comfortable throughout the biopsy procedure. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine concern for my well-being were outstanding. The specialists carefully took a biopsy sample, which was sent to pathology for further analysis. The local anesthesia was effective, and I experienced no discomfort during or after the procedure.nnBefore I left, the team arranged a CT scan and scheduled a follow-up appointment for me to return once the pathology results are available.nnOverall, my experience at Mount Sinai was excellent. The specialists, nurses, registration, and customer service teams were all professional, compassionate, and thorough. I highly recommend Mount Sinai’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department to anyone requiring specialized dental or oral care.
We had a very mixed experience. Had a nurse named Yana that was very arrogant towards my pregnant wife and ingnored her contractionsliterally said she wasn't having them even though they were every 10mins. And missed the nerve twice when having to attach an IV.nnThe team for the csection were phenomenal not just in process but being supportive to my wife dueing a scary time.nnThe other nurses after our delivery were fantastic that we had Bruna, and Mya2 others but I can't remember theirs namesnnHowever the biggest problem i saw was the family room. Theres an old refrigerator with everyone's food in there. I ended up removing a moldy container that was in the fridge. The fridge did not seem to hold temp either. Very unacceptable and not food safe. This is very disgusting, there should be no reason why it can't be an industrial refrigeration unit for some decency. The hospital makes plenty of money how about it goes to the care for food that these women need to be nurished and help recover.
