Mt Sinai is without a doubt the best Hospital experience I have ever had. They are so organized & work together for best patient outcome. The Doctor’s, Nurse’s & staff are kind, caring & have a wealth of knowledge. The food was good as well. Kudos
I am extremely impressed with the delivery of service from Mount Sinai. From the initial phone call to the day of my husband's surgery Dr. Safir and his team took care of us and were exceptional. They gave my husband his quality of life back and we are forever thankful. Special thanks to all the nurses on floor 11 as well, especially nurse Ron who went above and beyond to make my husband feel comfortable and cared for.
Late review from February 2024. Absolutely amazing staff and service. Wait time was reasonable and expected. I had some ongoing issues with my IUD, I was in and out within 2 hours in emerge. The nurse and doctor on shift were incredible. Doctor Shawn Lacombe was kind, patient and didn’t rush anything. Nurse Rawan El-Nachar was equally as kind. Big shoutout to the two of them and all the other staff on duty that day. I will be recommending this hospital to friends and family and will be coming here from now on.
I genuinely thought this hospital was great and would speak highly of it and now I cannot believe what happened to me yesterday and how they could have left me for dead if they could . I cried and begged to see someone and they called in other people who came after me before me . My partner kept asking the nurses and this one nurse in triage 4 was laughing about it saying “oh yeah she looks uncomfortable” and said they would see me in a moment. I was there an hour later after she said that. Even other patients were wondering why they hadn’t seen me yet because It was clear I was in pain . The other male nurse in triage 2 said they’ll call me in 30 seconds and they didn’t call me for another hour. And he just sat there talking and laughing with his colleagues. This is even after I had told you my pain was 10/10 . Then you guys left an IV in my arm and said you would give me pain killers right away and do not give me any until one of your security guards asked you give me the pain killers . You guys found out why I was in pain and still nothing was done on time, everyone was just moving like I was in no pain at all. When I stayed there overnight. You guys left an IV in my arm with nothing connected and it bled all night . I don’t know what kind of hospital this is anymore. I don’t know why it would be called emergency department and no one even cares to treat these issues like emergencies . This is why people never want to go to hospitals because they already know the type of people they have to deal with over there and would rather treat themselves . Never again .
I have to say that I am extremely grateful for the staff at Mount Sinai. Specifically nurses Liora, Anne, Kathy and Danielle, Dr Camille and the lovely Anesthesiologist David Antenatal & Family Birthing. I experienced one of the most devastating experiences of my life an infant loss and had a scheduled induction of labour due to a high risk pregnancy. Every single staff member helped in supporting us and making us feel loved and cared for. They showed loads of compassion and were true professionals. I truly believe that without them, this experience would have been life shattering. I am forever grateful for them & Mount Sinai. I hope to be lucky enough to have a baby here in the future.
