Writing this about 10 minutes after being discharged because I HAD to come praise the staff here in emerg. Absolutely impeccable service. I was in through registration, ECG, blood work and x-ray within 10 minutes. 10 minutes!! Everyone was friendly, helpful and alert to my needs and I felt safe. Everyone in triage or the green area was amazing too. The nurses, the doctor - all very attentive and in point. What would have been easily 8-10 hours at St. Joe's was just over 4 hours here and that's results and diagnosis and discharge. I'm okay btw. LolnI hadn't been here in 26 years - as they told me - but from what I remember, it was not as pleasant an experience back then. If I can and when I do need help again, I'll make my way here even if I'm closer to another hospital. Really impressed.
We had a great experience at the hospital’s Cardiac Inpatient Unit CIU. The hospital is fully renovated and equipped with modern technology, starting right from the registration process. The staff were extremely polite, professional, and very helpful. The directions to reach the unit were clear and easy to follow with no difficulties at all.nnThe entire CIU team was amazing, starting with Dr. Anup Gupta, who performed the procedure for my mother, all the way to the registration team within the unit itself. Everyone was efficient, accurate, and highly professional. They treated patients with respect and kindness, and they took the time to clearly explain the full case and answer all questions without rushing.nnA special thank you as well to Dr. A. Arrazaghi for the referral and support.nnWe truly appreciate everything you did to make this experience smooth and comfortable for us.nThank you all once again.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the nursing staff at MGH. My family member was admitted on the night of May 27, 2026, and stayed for two days. During this time, the night-shift nurse in Room T7-104 demonstrated an exceptional level of care, compassion, and professionalism. Her attentiveness and genuine concern made a difficult situation much more reassuring for our family.nnWe are truly grateful for her dedication and the high standard of care she provided.
My dad was there for over a month. He had heart, kidney, lung failure and dementia. The doctor even suggested that he might have colon cancer. They knew he was literally dying and wanted him out of the hospital. They even had someone talk me into putting him into a retirement home and they knew he wasn't able to do the the simplest things for himself. My dad couldn't prop himself or get off the bed without assistance. A relative had to come with me to the hospital and tell them if they want my dad out, they would have to put him in transitional Care, not a retirement home. He was taken to Kew Beach Transitional Care, where he didn't even spend a week there. My dad was taken back to Michael Garron in the ICU, where a doctor told me my dad was going to pass within a couple of hours. My dad passed on May 1st. Like I said, they knew he was dying and wanted him out. They could have just let him stay there.nnAnd another thing the nurses there are thieves. Bought my dad some clothes the second day he was there, came to visit him and they were gone. I asked the nurses and on one knew what happened to his clothes. Brought my dad his hearing aids, when a nurse told me to bring them because my dad wasn't hearing very well. On day the hearing aids were in his bag pack and the next time I visited the hearing aids were gone. Those cost over $3,000.nnI would not recommend this hospital at all.
