As a new mother, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to welcome my baby into the world than St. Michael’s Hospital. From the moment I arrived until the day we went home, I felt surrounded by care, compassion, and professionalism.nnThe doctors, nurses, and support staff were incredibly kind and attentive—not just to my baby, but to me as well. They made sure I felt informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way. As a first-time mom, I was filled with anxiety, but their patience and encouragement truly helped me gain confidence and peace of mind.nnWhat stood out most was how gently and thoroughly they handled every situation, treating us not just as patients, but as people. Their warmth and dedication created a safe and comforting environment during one of the most important moments of my life.nnThank you, St. Michael’s Hospital, for giving me a beautiful start to my motherhood journey. I will always be grateful.
I got a benign pituitary tumor removed through my nose here. I was impressed with how high-tech and coordinated everything was. All the staff I saw treated me and other patients with empathy and care. I am beyond grateful for the care and service I received.nnI didn't expect good service because it is a public hospital and they don't need to get my repeat business or referrals. There is a never ending supply of patients.
For several years, and especially the last six months before the surgery, I had been experiencing severe pain in my lower back. I had mobility issues and couldn’t live normally—constant pain and fatigue. I had become like an old, frail woman for whom even going down to the porch and sitting on a bench had become a significant achievement. I turned to my family doctor, who referred me for an MRI. The MRI revealed that I had L4-L5 Spine Laminectomy Decompression Fusion with 50% displacement, and surgery was necessary. He then referred me to Dr. Howard GinsbergnI was fortunate enough to quickly get an appointment with him. Dr. Howard Ginsberg is an exceptionally skilled surgeon who has performed over 1,000 similar surgeries. He paid great attention to every aspect of my case. He thoroughly explained the procedure, answered all of my questions, and alleviated all my fears. I completely trusted this wonderful person and great surgeon, 100%.nThe surgery was performed by Dr. Howard Ginsberg and his amazing team, all of whom are highly professional specialists.nThe postoperative care was organized at the highest level. The professionalism of the medical staff contributed to maintaining a morally uplifting atmosphere and facilitated my speedy recovery. On the second day after the surgery, I was helped to stand and take a few steps. By the fourth day, I was already walking with the aid of a walker, and on the sixth day, I was discharged from the hospital.nAs a result of the surgery, I experienced significant relief and improvement in my condition. The pain that had troubled me for such a long time disappeared, and I was able to return to an active life.nEvery day, I thank God that He guided me to such an amazing doctor, Dr. Howard Ginsberg, who gave me a second life and the chance to live a full life without pain!nDear Dr. Howard Ginsberg, thank you and your team for your wonderful hands, your work, and your high level of professionalism, which gives people a new, fulfilling life!
Nearly 2 weeks ago I've rushed to St. Michael's Emergency Dpt ED with unbearable pain in my left lower part of my belly and the fever 37.8. Besides, I had a pain in my chest and my heart was beating with higher than ever rhythm. In an ED thanks to a receptionist I was quickly directed to a room for the patients with acute pain. There I met with the nurse Michael who did his job very diligently and with a great care. He is a great person and was always nearby and ready to help me with all my requests. Then after some medical procedures Dr. Ackery came into my ward and explained in details what had happened to me. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Then Michael gave me some medications to reduce my pain. Dr. Myers gave me more details on my medical problem and kindly supplied me with the instructions to follow during recovering period. The nurse Mamata sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly replaced Michael. She is very nice person with a big heart and good soul. I would like to thank all personnel of St. Michael's Emergency Department for their care, great skills, and high professionalismn- Lubov P.
I had very great experience here. Dr. Yiwen Liu and her team, nursing team demonstrated professionalism and dedication. I am truly grateful and impressed. The only drawback is that the private room is cupboard sized, very packed, smaller than I thought.
