Really great grocery and even better knowing that it is independent and not owned by a huge conglomerate...i think.nAnyways they have all the things a super grocery has from a pharmacy and supplements section, fresh produce, packaged and frozen foods and more. They even have a bit of a mall feel worth a wine store and several grocery restaurant booths/ food stations inside.nA small Halloween section as well.
5 stars for the staff and the effort to promote local products.nThere are better options in your neighborhood for most things though, at places that aren’t members of one of the most morally bankrupt industries in Canada. Where you’ll find healthier, better quality, and ethically sourced food. If you have the time and the ability to shop around at small local businesses, you’ll even save money, and you wont be manipulated to buy junk from the moment you walk in, right to the checkout lane. As far as chain supermarkets go though, Massine’s is alright.
Oct 12/24 1130 am.nThis is my grocer which I must commend the Staff. Along with fresh products and relatively fair on pricing which I'm applicative of. I finally complained and will continue to complain about the rift raft that are allowed to set up what equivocates to their living room environments on Independent property. This compromises my safety and shopping experience. Management has a responsibility to all their customers to assist in alleviating this on going concern. Photos available.
Been shopping here for years. While prices sometimes can be high I feel that is the Loblaws brand not the independent ownership. I work overnights and the owner is there at store open and always greets people with a smile. The morning cashiers are awesome
For what I wantwhole foods/meat it's always great/good prices and convenient and when my phone was broken, customer service had no problem taking the time to call me a taxi. Also, can's go wrong with self checkout!
