I haven't been in this store since it moved. Much larger store with great selection. Very clean and organized. Easy to find what you need. Great selection of empanada's and food to go. Their burritos are very good also, homemade feel and taste. Great selection if you are looking for regional tastes from around the world. Good selection of dry peppers if you are in a rush.
I love this place because it represents all the good things about Latin American culture, from products to warm customer service. Plus it’s very clean and organized. Best empanadas in town!!
Came upon this market by chance when heading for the distillery in the same complex. I am so glad I went in! They had so many products that I can't find at other markets or grocery stores. They even sold vegetarian rennet for cheese making! If you are looking for a cast iron tortilla press, they sell them here. The bakery was phenomenal. I'm an extremely picky eater and even I loved everything on the menu! They've inspired me to try my hand at making some of these dishes myself and I will definitely be back to support their business. If you're passing by, do not pass up the opportunity to try their bakery!
Very clean and organized store with an awesome staff that are very polite and helpful.nnTried the Alfajores sweet pastry and they were really good. Just the right amount of sweetness.nnAlso tried the Pastelito stuffed crust and it was really good with the garlic dip. I did find it a bit expensive for the size of it, but the flavour is really good.nnDrop by and check out their amazing selection of Latino products.
One of the best Latin markets in Ottawa. It’s very clean and has many products all the way from food to football jerseys. They even have their own bakery on the inside and offer many Latin pastries such as bunuelos, empanadas, pan de bono and afajors. There are some gluten free options but not sure about the measures for cross contamination.
